The Hyeholde would be a great fit!!
We considered our wedding there as we've dined there a few times and it is amazingly gorgeous, but our guestlist grew too large. EDIT: They are an upscale restaurant but don't charge too much more for weddings (starting at $160 for room reservations and $200 for ceremony, plus meals.)
I know they do small weddings--they have options for weddings under 20 people, so they make work for you. Especially during the winter, I can't see them turning you away due to your party size. Ceremony locations on site, too.

Good luck!
what about the barn at fallingwater? not sure about the price though. for that many people I'd assume it wouldn't be too expensive
@Gabrielle123: Thats where our wedding is and I love it. It is beautiful, but not very budget friendly. And the upstairs of the barn--aka the gorgeous part--is not heated, so they only rent it may-october. :(
@Roe: oh wow! It definitely wouldn't work for her case then. You are going to have a beautiful wedding! Please post pics when you are a married lady! :)
Thanks every one, I am now looking into the Hyeholde and it looks very nice.
I tried to drive over and just take a look because its very close to my place but my access was limited to what I could see from the outside. I did manage to drive around a little to take a look at the place from the outside.
It is a really nice place, I liked the architecture of the building and I managed to find a price sheet on their website that clearly states they will support small groups such as ours.
The price is also very good for what you get.
Thanks again everyone..
I will keep you updated on how this works out for sure.
@Gabrielle123: I totally will!
@shawndg: Yay! Definielty see the inside--its got this old castle vibe. Very elegant and romantic. Very private, too.
Hi All,
I may need to consider other options because this place has yet to call me back..
I even drove over to the place to take a look at it myself in person, I made the mistake of taken my crazy dad who decided to knock on the window.. was a little emberising but we did end up meeting their wedding cordinator. There was nothing going on yet, they where just setting up so was not to big of a deal.
After explaining to him what I was there for and what I wanted he first tried to say the place was to small, but then he was also working at a party or wedding that was only 14 people big.... My pary is 12 and may grow a little bigger so I dont see a problem here.
I told him I would like to book it for the reception and the ceremony, and he even gave me a guide with a little price book that was just like the one I had but a little more pages of extras like piano players to hire, etc... which I liked the idea of.
Ok, so now I left and have yet to get a call back from this guy.. I left three messages between last friday and yasterday.. Part of me thinks this guy is avoiding me because he may work on commision and DEC is a good time for him to book big Christmass parties even though right now he only has one day booked..
I realy do like the place, and maybe Im overthinking it.. but I think this guy should of called me back by now... and he never picks up the phone either..
So, maybe I should start looking at other ideas ? Any one have any others ?
I got a call back, so maybe I was just paranoid..
This place looks realy nice, wish me luck.
@shawndg: Good luck! I don't know much about it. But it sounds beautiful!
Foxburg (about an hour north) is beautiful! They have elopement packages which are very nice. I was considering it! =)

Hi, I am looking to have a small budget friendly family only wedding around Pittsburgh.
We want a winter wedding because we want time to save up for the Honeymoon in Cancun.
So what we are looking for is a place with a indoor room where you can view out to see nice winter views.
But we are a very small group, so we dont need much in terms of space..
But we don’t want something very nice because even though it is small it is after all our wedding!
Any ideas ?
