Is anyone serving pizza for their rehearsal dinner?
We’re renting out a banquet room at the hotel where the room block and ceremony will be held at and will be bringing in delicious Chicago deep dish pizza (Lou Malnati’s…mmmm). Besides maybe a side salad – what else should we serve?

I suggested we go to a pizza tavern for our rehearsal dinner and my FMIL was both horrified and insulted. whatevs. I thought it would have been nice and really fun. So no, I’m not serving pizza but if I had any say in it we would have.
I say just a nice side salad and breadsticks will be fine. and some sort of dessert.

I don’t think you need anything besides pizza and salad – breadsticks maybe but that’s a heavy meal! Yum yum yum! I want to do a pizza rehearsal dinner!

I think people will get a kick out of it – almost everyone will be from out of town, so they don’t usually get to eat deep dish.

Sounds delicious! And fun! I think you’ll be more than okay with pizza and salad.

- Wedding: April 2010 - Signature Events
Mmm, I love Lou Malnati’s! My in-laws hosted a pizza rehearsal for us, too. We had two kinds of pasta for those who didn’t like pizza, salad, bread rolls, and cake for dessert. It was delish!

We had our rehearsal dinner at a local pizza place, and every one had a blast. We made sure to serve alot of different kinds, and kept the beer flowing, and it was totally us. I would do it exactly the same way if I had to do it all over again. Go for it!!!

Ah pasta that could be a good addition. I am thinking of having thin crust too for people who aren’t fans of too much cheese.

I like the idea. Personally, I think there is enough fuss & formality in the whole wedding weekend….I would love something simple like pizza. And you can’t go wrong with Lou’s.

Love that idea. Maybe do a couple different salads (ceaser, spinach, garden, etc) for some options and have a blast!

We’re doing pizza and salad too! I honestly think that’s enough – especially with chicago style. sooo filling!

The only thing that I would add besides beverages would be some wings. We though about having pizza for ours, but have decided on Chinese food instead.
