Can I just ask a question? What are you going to do with them after or are your guests supposed to bring them home? Personally, I would have zero use for that around my house and it would likely end up in the Goodwill bin. Not trying to be mean, just honest and give you food for thought.
Not offended, I appreciate honesty! 🙂 I actually have thought about that. I would just have the guests take them home at the end of the night, since I need about 100, I would have no use for them. And, honestly, If they just throw them away, that’s fine by me. They are not very expensive, and we are having a photbooth as the favors. I totally understand where you are coming from, I have tossed every favor that I have received from a wedding, there usually is no use for them. These are just something cute to help guide them to their seats 🙂 BUT, if you have a better idea, I’m totally open for suggestions!!
I almost got the strawberries as favors, but my venue couldn’t store them. I don’t really have a “theme”. We’re getting married in South Lake Tahoe, on a golf course that’s on the lake. But I’m not a fan of the beach theme…or golf. Our colors are black, white and pink. Our centerpieces are manzanita trees with pink orchids, tealights and crystals. I just recently found these that I really like (gerber daisies are one of my wedding flowers) I just have to talk my fiance into them since they are over twice as much as the others! I don’t know if he’ll go for it.
The second one is way more modern and chic than the first. I would take that home(and maybe my neighbors too!) and use it again.
I agree with @baletrina: the second ones are very cute and I’d take them home. My grandparents did something very close to your first bride/groom set when they did their 50th wedding celebration. Out of 100 people, maybe 20 took them home. The rest are in a box in the attic. :-/
Ya, I really like the second one also! Now to try and talk the fiance into it…. Fingers crossed!! Thanks for your help everyone!
