i know this is pretty specific, but does anyone have a twisted or braided wedding band that goes along with an e-ring with a plain band? I would love to see pics. I have a solitaire e-ring with a plain band and I originally wanted just a straight wedding band with channel set stones, but I was considering a twisted band to go with it because I was thinking the twist might fit with my ring well to minimize the gap. I don’t mind a gap but with the few bands I’ve tried with it, the wedding ring always seems to end up looking crooked.
I’ll post a pic of my engagement ring and a band in mind. Thanks in advance if anyone actually fits the super specific description, haha.

I love this look, actually. My engagement ring is very small and plain so I definitely needed something interesting for the wedding band. It kind of gives it texture which I think is important. As far as a gap goes, though, mine definitely has one but I do think that it minimizes it somewhat or at least breaks it up enough so that you’re not that drawn to it. With a plain band, I think it’d be much more of an eyesore. The band you’ve posted concaves right where your stone is though, so you may not even have one (and even if you go for a plain engagement band yours wouldn’t be as dramatic as mine since it’s a bezel, as far as I can tell… so either choice will probably look great). Good luck! I love your ring, by the way.

I ended up deciding to just get a plain ordinary band, but I tried this on. It fitted really well with my ring but I preferred the plain band on it’s own.

rel318: I also have a solitaire with a plain band and I am looking at getting a wedding ring exactly like the one you are looking at (but without the diamonds) I love the look of the twist over just a plain band.

oscillatewildly: yeah I like that the concave is right where my stone is, because with most rings there isn’t much of a gap so I think it might fit perfectly with that band. Unfortunately that ring is located in the UK so I have to see if I can find a similar one here in the US

I know this is an old thread but can we bump it to get it going again? I’m currently obsessing over a wedding band that looks something like this (but as a band without the centre stone detail)
id love to see more pics of twisted or split shank wedding bands, preferably with solitaire engagement rings
