Almost all of the ketubah sites we looked at offered a plain version. I don't remember where we ordered ours, but it might have been from here. We ended up commissioning a mat to go around our ketubah rather than pasting the text onto something or having the actual parchment painted. That was a really great option for us since we didn't have to worry about something happening to the actual document.
you can just google something like "paint your own ketubah" and different sites will come up. this is the first one that came up when i typed it in, but you might want to compare different prices.
Yup - Ketubah.com. We got ours plain too, so that my SIL can paint it.
I love love love that your fiance is going to paint it!
Make sure to really look at the texts and compare. Every ketubah artist/store uses different fonts, and some are better looking than others. You want your ketubah to look like a work of art, not a Microsoft Word document!
As a calligrapher and ketubah artist myself, the *letters* and *words* are always an integral part of my designs. Check out my "Paint Your Own" ketubahs. The fonts I use are digitized from my own calligraphy, so my texts offer much of the warmth of actually *hand*lettering*, but without the high price! (Or I can hand letter your text if your budget allows for actual calligraphy.)

Hi Bees,
My fiance is looking to actually paint our ketubah. Does anyone know of any places that sell the fine text of the ketubah so that we can paste it solidly on a canvas so my fiance can paint on the outside of the ketubah text?
