I just got engaged last weekend and LOVE my ring. It already has me thinking about what type of wedding band to get. I wouldn’t change anything about the engagement ring but it is more blingy than I typically wear. What would look better? A plan yellow gold band? or a matching ring with channel diamonds?

I voted plain, because I like contrast, but I think either would be great.

I’d say channel, I think that setting provides a subtle amount of sparkle, so it can’t be too over the top, just right 🙂

@_littlebunny_: I think channel would look really nice- it’s not too over the top blingy- just perfect:)

Channel set for sure!
of course, that’s what I have and I love it 🙂

Channel. I think it will highlight your center stone beautifully. Plus, I love my channel set eternity bands!!

Mine is plain, with engraving. My ering is also channel set. I thought it was too much with the channel on the wband (they offer both matching for my ering).

I voted for plain – only because that’s what I did. I have a ring highly similar (with channel set diamonds on the ering) and I decided to have a plain band. In the future when I get my anniverary ring I want that to be a half eternity (channel set) and wear on the outside of my engagement ring. So the stack with be: plain wedding band, ering, channel set anniversary band. I figured if botht the wedding band and anniversary ring had diamonds it would be really blingy and you wouldn’t be able to distinguish the wedding band. That’s just me. You choose what’s right for you, girl 🙂

I’d go for plain, because you see concerned about bling level. Also, I’m neurotic and could not stand to have a chanel wedding ring that was not an exact match for my chanel engagement ring (I’m not sure if yours are but I’m assuming)
