I recently purchased a .65 Pear Cut Plain Band Engagement ring for my Fiance. Now I’m looking for her wedding band and need some ideas.
I was looking at maybe a plain wedding band, an etternity band, a half eternity band, a carved band… obviously I have alot of ideas but could really use everyones help. Anyone with a plain band solitaire please post pictures of your ring sets so I can see what would look best with my fiances.
Thank you all!
Heres my fiances E ring.
Sorry I know the pictures are not the best.

@Burch663: Have you considered a half eternity band with some colored stones? Sapphires and emeralds look nice in yellow gold! If she doesnt like color, I would recommend a milgrained pave half eternity with all clear stones 🙂 Love the e-ring! Is it a surprise??
ETA Here is my plain band solitaire (also .65!) and the wedding ring I recently decided on!

The engagement ring was a surprise but I want her to help design the wedding band so I’ll definitley ask her about the colored stones and see what she thinks. I do like the milgrain pave and the half eternity is where I was leaning if going with eternity. But you think the milgrain would go with a round edge plain band?
Beautiful rings btw!

I have two bands that I alternate between wearing with my pear solitaire,
depending on my mood.

Very nice, I like the plain band for that classic look, but the bling from the eternity ring is really nice as well. Also what are your thoughts on the size of the band for the wedding ring? should it be smaller than the e ring or the same size?

@Burch663: Thanks! And yes I do think a milgrain band looks good with a smoother e-ring. 🙂 Go try some on in person — it’s literally the only way to know!! Congrats!
