- Wedding: October 2011
I’m MoH-ing for one of my good friends from college this spring, and since I live a good 3.5 hours away, I’ve been trying to get my head together for what to do for her bachelorette. I’ve asked her what she’d be interested in doing, and she’s making things pretty easy — she just wants to go out to dinner and bar-hopping.
I’d really like to do something special for her, but it’s hard to plan events/stuff to do, being out of town. But I’ve been trying to come up with things I can do beforehand to make it a little more special:
- Make some fancy filled cupcakes to take with me! (They’ll survive the car ride, with the way I crank up the AC)
- Make some crafty things for her ahead of time – since we won’t be partying in a particular space, I was thinking more along the lines of pictureframes/scrapbook/etc that she could keep rather than decorations
- Get in touch with the other bms and agree on some sort of theme presents (probably lingerie, but they may want to do something else)
- Pay for her dinner and drinks (of course)
Anyone have any suggestions for how to plan/prepare for a really awesome, meaningful, memorable bachelorette even when you can’t do a lot of on-the-ground prep work?
