Hi!!  Don’t worry I am in a similar situation!  We just got engaged last month!  Everything is SUPER expensive where we live so we definitely wanted off season (October-April here).  I always wanted a fall wedding but don’t want to wait a year to get married.  we also wanted it on the 8th of a month so that narrowed it down too.  So we chose March 8th and that only gave us 6 months to plan everything!

I’m getting my dress next month, buying a sample dress.  A bridal shop near me has amazing sample dresses so I’m not worried.  We still have to choose a venue though.  It’s not a lot of time to put together a wedding, especially with holidays coming up.  But I KNOW it can be done and it will be GREAT!!  It can feel overwhelming but when that happens take a deep breath and take a little break from the planning.  Also, have fun with it and allow yourself to feel the happiness and excitement about your wedding.  This is an exciting period of time in our lives and its important to be happy during it!

I’m so excited for you. It’ll be fine. I still haven’t got my dress yet, I’m having my first chat with my seamstress in November. Then the pressure will be on for her.

It’s such an exciting time, spend loads of time with supportive people, your FI & bm’s.

Best wishes xx

@banjolellie:  Welcome to the PARTY!! 😀

Don’t worry, I’m super behind, too. I’m sending out Save the Dates this week, so don’t worry too much about that one!

PS – if you have to wait, don’t let it stress you out too much!
FI and I wanted to get married right away, too, but fate worked against us on that one. Honestly, I am so grateful we had the opportunity to settle into being engaged and plan out our wedding with more time and less stress.
So if it turns out you have to wait a while, count it as a blessing. 🙂

@banjolellie:  Those are pretty much all the really big things! You’re in great shape! I got engaged 4.5 months before my wedding so I know how you feel! But don’t worry. You’ll make it:)
