Just need to vent…
I’ve been sick off and on for over a year. Over the past 4/5 months it’s gotten way worse. I’m dizzy, nauseous, and weak… every day. Today I went on a walk for 30 minutes and I nearly collapsed.
I had planned on doing loads of DIY projects. I’m an artist and wanted to express this creativity throughout the wedding. Now I don’t know if I’m going to be able to do everything that I really wanted to do. I know I can ask people to help, which I will be doing now. But these are things that I love doing and really wanted to do. It makes me so sad.
I also planned on going to tons of thrift stores and to find great vintage items because we’re having a 1950’s theme wedding. But, leaving the house is like torture. Now I’m stuck with ebay and etsy. But I love going to thrift stores!
On the bright side, I finally got a diagnosis. But my doctors don’t know much about it other than it’s rare and it’s not terminal. Praying that the next medication helps.

aww…sorry to hear. Although you are going the DIY route…there’s no reason why you shouldnt ask for some help and also still get some things done the way you want them. Look to your friends and family to help you through. Take a day off during the week with a bridesmaid…and have her drive you to all the places you would like to check out. During the weekday morning hours stores won’t be as busy, and you can take your time and stop and rest when needed.

*gentle hugs* . Not sure what you’re dealing with, but I love ChronicBabe. I have some chronic health issues, and that web site has been great to give me a community of other females who understand what I’m going through. I’m going through a flare right now and so worn out – I’m sleeping a minimum of 12 hours a day and just doing the most minor things totally wear me out. We’re not even officially engaged yet (we just bought the engagement ring and wedding bands), and I know I’ll need help planning my wedding. The way I see it, at the end of the day as long as we’re married, anything else is just icing on the cake (this is just my opinion and its what works for us!). If my best friend lived closer, she said she’d plan everything! haha – or atleast go to my cake tastings 😛 I do plan on asking as many people as possible to help out.
