i kind of relate. We were suppose to have a wedding in November of 09 when his parents and my parents offered to split the costs of the wedding and then due to family drama (me and his mom) they all backed out and we lost all of our deposits. I want to be married but recently we both have been laid off so we were planning on eloping til my offered again to pay for the wedding if we had it at a church. Now she wants us to wait to get married since we (Fiance and I) arent financially ready for the wedding etc. I guess money is holding us back but we  do have money to do it at city hall and just elope but im afraid it will hurt my moms feelings. My grandfather is 87 right now and he found out that he has pancreas cancer and i want to get married before he passes and all that.

haha im thinking about doing the same thing but i feel that it would inconvenience some of our guests and i know my parents wont be there if we do decide to have it in Vegas. I remember this one time i went to this Bridal store and the consultant asked me “why would you want to elope in sin city, is your marriage a sin or something?” i was so shocked that someone would say that to me. Ive looked at Vegas and Flamingo Las Vegas Chapel is very pretty. They have gazebos, and a crescendo pool.

haha so let me tell you! i bought one dress when we first got engaged at David’s Bridal for $100, then still looked at other wedding dresses so i sold the first one and got a 2nd one again at David’s Bridal. Then i found the Maggie Sottero collection and fell in love with the sabelle so i sold the 2nd dress and now i have my final dress. Its sitting in my closet as well and apparently its bad to leave your gown in the garmet bag? So now im looking for a cloth garmet bag to put my dress in so it wont get eaten by moths! haha let me tell you its so nice to talk to someone on here. at times i feel so lonely since none of my friends are engaged and arent into the wedding stuff like i am πŸ˜€
