We are planning our wedding for febreruary next year and a week ago I found out i am pregnant again ( we have a 2 year old ) and I am nervous I havent been dress shopping which means I wil have to buy my dress as soon as possible because later I wont be able to try it on and also I will only have like 4 months to get in shape after the baby for the wedding. We dont want to wait a other year and I want a winter wedding Anyone in a similar situation?

@winterprincesse: Congrats on your BFP (even if it is a surprise–And a pretty inconvienent one!)
How did you bounce back from baby #1? At least you have a general idea of what size you’ll be! (hopefully!)

CONGRATS first off! I found out I am due in July and our wedding is planned for October……no idea what we are going to do! I have a dress that was custom fit that is due to be in the shop in the next week. We don’t know if we should spend the money on our big wedding or if we should just do a courthouse kind of thing and plan some sort of destination wedding celebration in the future.
Best of luck deciding 🙂

oh boy you are going to have your hands full girly!
Is there any way you can try on dresses for general shape / style now to get an idea of what you want and then go in to get the actual dress after the baby, you might not be able to get a beautiful custom hand beaded gown within a month of the wedding, but I can guarentee you can get a lovely boutique off the rack dress closer to your post baby size that would only need one round of alterations.
Just a thought

@globalmargaret: congrats! I am due at the beginning of may and our wedding is a domestic destination in the beginning of September. So baby will be barely 4 months, we also have a 3 year old. I was trying to get pregnant so had tried on several dresses before the bfp, but ordered my dress when I was about 9 weeks pg. I lost all the weight with my first immediately but I’ve heard it can be harder the second time so I ordered 2 sizes above what I think I actually will need and am just going to pay what I must to alter alter alter!! The woman at the boutique I bought it from was really unconcerned about the time/size issue so that made me feel much better about it. I also made sure I bought a dress that had some boning and structure around the old midsection 😉
You’ll be fine! I’m finding it nice to have this baby and my little family to keep me grounded. I feel I’m less likely to get worked up over little wedding details that probably aren’t the end of the world 🙂

First Congrats !
Thats def cutting things close, however not impossible :-)… Since you already have one you already know how to bounce back and with the second since you know what to expect it shouldn’t be as nerve wracking … start looking for your dress now get it ordered about 2-3 sizes bigger and either way it will fit like a glove or have to be taken in …
Me and my BF are TTC and planning a wedding for mid to end of May 2014 so I’ll hopefully be pregnant when we get married :)… I get my ring this month too finally !!!
I wish you luck and keep us posted !
