*Inspired by another post I saw.

If you could get any plastic surgery procedure, what would you get? Why?

I personally have a bit of a turkey chin thing... I don't really know what it's called, but I have extra skin under my chin so instead of having a pretty sculpted chin, I have this extra skin... It really makes me unhappy because if I every see a picture of me from the side, or I turn my head trying to look cute, I see it.

Noooooooooooooooooooo! I love my body! I think plastic surgery looks gross on everyone!! I have bits I don't like because I've been made fun of over the years but FI loves it all and doesn't want a single thing different!!! :D If I HAD to choose something plastic surgery I'd pick a usable cat tail.

Edit: I swear I'm an adult!

more so a cosmetic surgery, but the most I would do to my body is liposuction. I would feel weird if I had something artificial in my body unless I was in a horrible accident or had a deformity.

I would get my boobs done just a little bit bigger.  I'm a 32B/C now, I think I'd go to a 32D.  Too afraid of surgery and too much money though, so I probably won't.

I would never get plastic surgery. At 48 years old, my girls are still perky. and hardly any wrinkles on my face... so I will grow old gracefully! LOL

When I was younger I wouldn't have considered it at all, but now I'm wondering about a post-baby "tummy tuck". It's been more than a decade since my youngest born, so it's not just fat - I've been stretched out of shape.

I really dislike plastic surgery.  I think women, as they age, look better when they have not had work done.

I would have the end of my nose thinned out. I probably will in 10 years or so. I just think it's a bit wide when I smile.

Once I'm older, I'll probably get botox. I wouldn't do it in my 20's or 30's though.

It's not exactly surgery, but I have keloid scar tissue in my earlobes from when they were pierced, and also in my belly-button (from surgery); I'd love injections to try to get rid of it, and as soon as I can afford them, I'll get them.

I'd also like lipo on my chin; I have a very soft jaw-line, which can make me look like I've got a double-chin; the only weight at which I didn't have it too badly was 7 stone, which is WAY too small for me (I'm 5'7"). So, I'd like that too

@paula1248:  I've had a cesarean, and the cut has a bulge over it so let's say a "muffin top" and I would be too afraid to let a doctor "trim" it and get an infection or an instrument left inside... all because of vanity.

But a nose job or facial reconstruction is okay to me, because they don't cut you open like a stomach issue

i got my boobs done a year and a half ago. best decision ever. i got a reduction, and went from an H cup to a D cup. i can see my toes again, i have no back/shoulder pain, and i can wear cheap bras again.

i won't do anything else. i don't do well with anaesthesia.

@happyface:  I've had 3 c-sections...  I too am very averse to needless surgery, but my stomach really does sag, more than most women as far as I can tell. I'm not sure if I'll ever do it (especially after complications from some other post-pregnancy surgery in that area), but if I knew it would be successful I think I would.

I am not opposed to plastic surgery as long as the patient is of sound mind and understands the physical and emotional ramifications of changing or altering their body.

That said, I have no idea how my boobs/stomach/hips will look after children, so if it made me that unhappy, I would be open to lipo or a breast lift/boob job.

I have to have a rhinoplasty.  An ex broke my nose and I can't breathe out of half my nose and have constant problems because of it. (Yes, I had the guy arrested and never saw him again outside of court).  I keep putting it off because I am slightly afraid of surgery, having never had one and my DH has had three sinus surgeries and his stories about them scare the crap out of me.

It's a tie between boobs and liposuction. Probably I'd get boobs because I don't think liposuction is a realistic procedure for me and if I want to lose weight I'd rather do it healthily than have to deal with a lipsocution procedure as I age. By boobs I mean I would get a reduction and lift - not make them larger. And hey, with smaller boobs I may look much thinner that I wouldn't even need liposuction. I do have a little bump in my nose, but since my nose looks perfect from the front and you can't see it from the side, I'd rather get the boobs than the nose.

Not that any of that will most likely ever happen for me... just saying hypothetically.

I don't think I ever would but if did... I would definitely do some fillers, resurface my face... do some body sculpting, I have 34 G boobs so I am sure I"ll have to up them at some point. I have lost about a 100lbs over the past two years... and while I don't have a lot of hanging skin- I definitely have stretch marks everywhere and would like those gone.

Oh and this is not an actual procedure but I would totally make my feet skinner than they actually are. They're wide and I can't wear the cute shoes I like.

I'm too chicken to do anything though.

I most likely never will because of the cost.  I would love to have my nose done, it just has this weird bump and I have been asked by multiple people if I've ever broken it.  It used to embarras me in high school and I know that as an adult it is something I notice that no one else does.  My FI loves me and my nose and I think I've just learned to accept it since my nose could be a lot worse.  But damn, if someone would give me the money I would be all over that

I never wanted plastic surgery, but I did have jaw surgery that used to be considered cosmetic surgery but thankfully is now classified as medically necessary. During surgery, they ran into some issues, and I ended up having a nose job done due to the issues, so it was weird to have a procedure without exactly wanting it in the first place. Even if you go into surgery wanting a change, it's weird to see your face or other noticeable body part looking differently. It's been four months and I'm just now starting to see "me" in the mirror.

I had a reduction years ago but I don't really consider that plastic surgery because it wasn't for vanity, but back/neck pain. Other than that, I'm not big on plastic surgery. I think it usually ends up looking worse.

I'm into body modification and just see plastic surgery as another kind. I'd absolutely get liposuction if money were no object, probably a breast lift (not feeling implants though) and I actively want to get botox in my jaw to reduce the width.

Tummy tuck. I clicked other. Having a 9lb baby then loosing 80 pounds adds a little extra to the belly

Liposuction if I had a 100% guarantee I wouldn't die... Seeing as how it's not guaranteed, I wouldn't actually do it.

I voted boobs.  I'm perfectly happy with their size - I'm a 34F - but I wish they were a bit perkier.  I'd have them lifted.

However, I don't plan on ever having any unnecessary surgery, even with ALL THE MONEY, so it's not going to happen.

I have had plastic surgery done on my nose before, but that was to make me able to breathe (and, so long as they were already in there, they fixed what I messed up when I broke my nose before).

Yes, i got my boobs done and absolutely love them now! i used to be a AA cup after i had my children (a D cup before them) I am now back to a D cup :)

I would also get a tummy tuck done, I have had kids as mentioned, one which was a c-section. Which has left me with an envelope of skin which hangs over the top of pants jeans, underware etc, this is not considered cosmetic in Australia, it falls under reconstuctive.

I plan on doing coolsculpting in the very near future. I am trying to lose weight currently and most of it is coming from my breast at this point. Depending on how I feel about things when I reach my goal weight I would heavily consider breast augmentation.

I saw my mom's boobs after she breastfed us kids, aaaand mine are already kind of saggy due to weight fluctuations over the years, so I'll probably get them lifted (with a possiblity of implants, but no larger than what I am now - 32D) after babies. Other than that, I wouldn't say no to a little maintenance/upkeep in the face department over the years. But I don't want that "no expression/ALWAYS surprised" face either :/ it's a delicate balancing act I've heard lol

I hardcore hate my thighs, and regardless of my size and weight, they're still the same shape with cellulite. I usually am mostly over it come swimsuit season and still skimp around in bathing suits, but hell yes - if I had the money, I'd totally get that lipo'd out!

If my boobs ever get super saggy I'm definitely getting a slight lift... other than that- onloy plastic surgery if I'm involved in an accident...

I personally see nothing wrong with plastic surgery. I see it as no different than dying hair (though, honestly, with a bit more risk). I don't dye my hair though... Just something I'm totally not willing to put time into.

I just hate my little giblet thing there under my chin... boo

Post-baby, I will likely get a breast reduction and lift (not due to vanity but due to neck/back pain).  But depending on how my stomach looks at that point, I wouldn't mind a tummy-tuck while I'm already under.  ;)  We'll have to see what babies do to my belly.

I voted for "something else" and "I'd never get it" because in reality, I wouldn't. That said, IF there were no chance of complications and there was enough money to go around so that everybody in the world could have all their basic needs met and for me to get plastic surgery, I'd totally want a tummy tuck.

I have had CO2 laser surgery to improve cystic acne scarring.  Two weeks of recovery almost made me nuts.

Otherwise, really don't see me ever considering anything else.  Too expensive, too risky. Better things to do with my time and money!

Ears. Mine stick out, and I'd love for them not to. It's an out patient procedure done with local anesthetic, so maybe it"s not quite as serious a procedure as the ones listed. Sigh.....if only I had  an extra 3,000 dollars laying around. Maybe after college, and before wedding.

I had my nose done just over a year ago. I always wanted my nose done, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  My new nose isn't perfect, but it is so much better than before.  After I had my nose done, my lips looked weird- so now I get restyln injected into my lips every 4-6 months.  Also, very much worth the money.

If I could, I would get breast implants and some lipo on my saddle bags/inner thighs.

The only plastic surgery that I would consider is a boob job. They are two different sizes (lefty is around a D and righty a B) to the point where it is noticible in almost every picture of me and makes finding bras a pain. I don't really want them to be bigger, just more even in size. However, I am going to wait until after I'm done having kids to see what they end up looking like, because who knows how babies will affect them!
