Hey girls! I am planning a wedding on Jekyll Island in Georgia. Question is what kind of music if any are you using? I don’t know what to do about it. And I am not to keen on the wedding party “walking down the aisle” per say. Kinda thought my girls and I would walk down the aisle and the wedding party would already be there. Need some thoughts.

Our reception DJ is also doing the music for our wedding. I love music like Dave Matthews Band, Jack Johnson, The Beatles, etc so we plan to use music like that.
I went to a church wedding recently and the bride walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of The Beatles “Here Comes The Sun”. It was beautiful.

@nicoletim1434: My sister(MOH) will likely walk to Beach Boys “God Only Knows” ( I ADORE this song). I’m walking to Brandon Heath’s “Love Never Fails”. Our recessional is either gonna be Weezer’s “Island in the Sun” or The Refreshments “Down Together”.
Still working on music to be playing while guests are arriving. Thinking about doing Vitamin String quartet versions of me and FI’s favorite bands(I love Smashing Pumpkins, he loves Metallica)

We had a guitarist play instrumental music when I was walking down the aisle on the beach and for the walk back down. He also stayed and played while we were out there taking family pictures. It was very chill and gave a nice feel.

We had a beach wedding too and my bridesmaids walked down to a piano version of bless the broken road by rascal flatts and my dad and I walked down to a piano version of marry me by train, the two songs went really well together.
It’s nice to have your girls walk down the aisle for good pictures and so everyone can admire their dresses and bouquets, but there is definitely no right or wrong way to do it!

We are having a Destination Wedding in St thomas and we are using a steel drum band. Cannon in D sounds amazing on the steel drums!

We had my little brother play the beat of the reggae version of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” on his accoustic guitar. It turned out perfectly.
