I think it looks like a wedding gown and not prom. But I'd like to see it on you before I say yes. I think it is pretty!
I think the gown is beautiful, but without seeing it on you, I can't give my honest opinion on what it would look like on you.
I like it a lot! I think you can't beat the price either!! If it fits you good, I say go for it! Good luck:)

don't get the dress just cause of the price tag though, get something that you LOVE!! :)
It's definitely not a prom-like gown. I really like the lace on it! I agree with PP that a pic of you in it will be really helpful to decide.

I don't think it looks prom at all, but w/o seeing it on you I can't tell you how it would look.
Ok when I go there today I will get my mom to take a pic of me in it...IF I don't just buy it....I guess if I buy it and find something I like better then I could sell it???
I think it looks a little dated adn over done- the top is similar to alot of dresses they make and teh skirt looks alittle cheaplier made similar to a prom dress style-
honestly, if i saw someone wearing that at prom, i would think "why are you wearing a wedding gown!?"
it's pretty. it's very pretty...and i'm sure it does look great on you. for the price, it's wonderful! but with that said, don't just buy it because of the price. buy it because you love it AND the price.
but yeah, you definitely could buy it and sell it!

I agree, we'd have to see a picture of you in it. But if it doesn't feel right, I'd advise against buying it right now. Especially given the amount of time you have left. You might find that you like something else, which is what a ton of us (myself included) did!
It's not my style so I'd say no but it is definitely a wedding gown and if it fits you perfectly and you like this style - sounds awesome.
Sorry guys...I put it back on and had second thoughts...I really did not like it at all. Plus it didn't help that the Staff who worked there were telling me the store was closing and I needed to hurry!! WHO DOES THAT?
if you're not sure you like it on yourself, dont get it! your gut is probably telling you something...its very pretty though and you can't really beat $199!

So i tried this dress on yesturday....its an older dress from 2008 or 2009...and it's marked down the $199 !! I know it's a steal but I'm not sure if I like it on me....It fits me 100% perfectly...i would probably need no alterations.....I just don't know about how it looks....Is it too Prom looking?? I'm going there in a little bit to try it on for my mom...to see what she thinks....What do you all think...Please be 100% honest.
It's an Alfred Angelo 1138.....has corset bodice...and some pink beading.
