On the front, where it says our wedding... to me it's a bit contrasty since the date is faded with the picture.
looks nice overall :-)
They look great!I agree about the contrasty thing, maybe you could do a darker shade of brown instead of black?
will your last names be on it anywhere? I really like the script font- do you know what it it?
It looks great!!! I agree witht he statement about the "The Wedding" text though, it should be more muted.
Thanks bees for your suggestions! My friend is going to fade "the wedding" for me a little bit.. as soon as she does ill repost for you to tell me what you think!!
Very nice! I love the surprise of your photo in the background...I didn't notice it at first.
So date twin, when are you sending yours out? We just got our STD's in the mail the other day...we are thinking about next week (if we can get all of the addresses by then).
Just wondering, do you have a wedding website? If so, you should put in on there so that the guests can keep track of all the details you post on there.
Busy Becks that's great we have the same date!! Well since we just designed them i need to send them to Vistaprint. I heard it can take about 14 days or so. As soon as i get them i will send them out. My only problem is to be honest i am not officially done with my guest list. We keep adding or changing people. I guess the 100% for sure guest i will mail them too.
Jizes318, we are in a similar boat, in that our guest list is a mess.
Good luck with getting everything together!
They are great!
I agree with maybe putting the last names on there. I don't think a lot of my family knew my FI's last night so I put both of our names on there.
very cute. I really like the photobooth pics for save the dates. That's my plan, too.
Guest list are so hard! I dont want to hurt anyones feeling but i simply cant afford everyone to come. Hopefully i get it together soon :) The pictures that we did were actually done by sitting a camera on top of our kitchen bar well actually on a chair on our bar then zoomed in to the sliding window with our curtain closed behind us and set a timer :) We then had my friend in corel/photoshop make it into a photobooth strip
I agree with adding the website if you have one. Also, I like to see "formal invitation to follow" since older family members aren't familiar with STDs and might think it's the actual invite. We put that on ours and some people STILL thought it was the invite! haha. Love the pics on the side, very cute design.
We do not have a website unfortunately and i did put "Formal Invitation to follow".. it is on the back side of post card at the bottom :)
You guys are making me cheese and have a huge smile! I was so worried it looked too much DIY..
i think it looks great! We're date twins too -- mine just came in from vista print. : ) One thing -- you might want to put the city/state on the back of the postcard, so people know where they're going for the wedding...
