So i came across bestbridalprices.com and found that they sell the allure dresses that im in love with but are sadly out of my price range. However i have noticed that they sell dresses by other designers much cheaper than I am able to buy them in the UK (Ie a Mori Lee 5108 in the UK is £750 but the best bridal prices one after currency conversion is only £450)
The allure dresses on bestbridalprices dont have prices listed – it says to call for price.
So I tried to email Bestbridalprices but havent had a response, so i tried calling tonight using Skype and for some reason the lady on the other end of the phone couldnt hear me very well 🙁
Anyway, i was hoping a lovely Bee on the other side of the pond might kindly call them on my behalf to find out the prices of three of the dresses please? They are:
The phone number is (877) 274-3321 (as found on http://www.bestbridalprices.com/)

Sure, I called and was told these prices.
Allure C241 = $3,148
Allure C227 = $2,405
Allure 8920 = $1,348
No sales tax outside of IL. In march $500 towards headpiece and shoes for first w dresses. $400 with last dress.
Hope that helps 🙂

I love it when women work together and help each other out rather than bitching and putting each other down 🙂 it was a very nice thing you did 🙂

@Rachael1287: Just a heads up, check out the import duty (I think about 12%?) and VAT before you purchase (I’ve used this in the past – http://www.dutycalculator.com/). It can easily add a few hundred pounds that you pay once the postman comes knocking! I know it can still end up cheaper, but can be a nasty shock if you’re not expecting it 🙂
EDIT: Also, shipping is included in the total, so if your dress cost $1,000 plus $100 for shipping, then you pay the duty and tax on $1,100. Which to be perfectly honest sucks.

@curlywurly88: Yep! Be careful with the customs in Europe. If possible, have it shipped to a friend in the US who ships it to Europe for you, packed as a “gift”, just mention dress and some $30 value:):)

@tisposeroperche: hopefully the dress is small with not lots of fabric.. its harder to hid wedding gown in the mail if its tons of fabric

@asianyoushi: Ship it as “gift” and write “Duvet cover” or Comforter on package. Have it packed in a Comforter bag as well.

@tisposeroperche: That’s exactly what I did with mine. Had it sent to my friend in NY and she removed all tags, changed boxes and sent it by courier to me in Greece.
