I really love the blue and white, and I like the individual elements  of your invitations, including the floral bouquet. However, as someone who has masters-level training in the principles of graphic design, I’m going to be honest and say that the large, pale-floral bouquet just doesn’t work with the rest of the design.

@Brielle:  I agree. The navy blue initials look like a leftover sticker you stuck on a watercolor. I dont know how to fix it, but the blue needs to be softer. Your inspiration invitation works because the water color takes up the entire page.

I would ask her to integrate it into the rest of the design in some way, perhaps through repeating one of the colors elsewhere in the document and by re-working the cover so that the floral motif and your initials in the circle are not directly competing for dominance on the page. The latter could be accomplished by having the floral pattern be a bleed, as in your inspiration photo (so that it functions as a background instead of one of two dominant elements) and by reducing the size of the circle with your initials.
