Hi,

I really like the cursive font and the font with your names. I think the & is a little too big before your names. I also think you need to have a comma in the date (October 31, 2014). I don’t LOVE the all caps font. Finally, I think the first one is too scrunched–the spacing on the bottom of the poster is a little off.

I would not have the word bitch on there.  The other thing that caught my eye was the bar.  Is it going to be open during cocktail hour, close at some point, and then re-open at 6?

I agree, do not like “sexy bitch!”  But the drinks sound amazing!

jenilynevette:  As long as you don’t have a grandma or aunt who’ll clutch her pearls, that’s fine.

Are you saving a lot of money by having the bar open after dinner is served?  It might be easier to just have it open when people walk into the reception space, and not have that listed on the chart at all.

jenilynevette:  I’m kind of picky about continuity. When I look at the drink menu, it is no cohesive. I don’t like that you’re using “&” and “mixed with”. It doesn’t read well. I would word it as “orange juice, orange soda, & vodka”, “hpnotiq & whipped cream vodka”, “orange juice, fruit punch, & gin”, etc. Also, I don’t like how three drinks mention “over ice”. I don’t think you should mention over ice at all. It would make me think that the other ones aren’t over ice for some reason, and it just doesn’t flow well.

I like these a lot better. The only other thing I would say is to either make both of them bold font or not. It looks like the second poster is bold and the first one isn’t.

jenilynevette:  I like the second set a lot better. As far as the drink wording, if you did want to go with the ingredients, a cocktail is called out by the liquors THEN “&” juices. For example a vodka and oragne juice is OJ mixed with vodka. An orange juice and vodka is a glass of orange juice AND a separate shot of vodka.

jenilynevette:  I like the second round MUCH better! And nacho bar? Count me in!
