It looks great, I really like it all in lowercase letters! Love the designs, and how you included hotel info for out of town guests! Nice work!
Hey girl, is this the same image you got from the other website? I just wanted to let you know that if it is, it's going to print pixelated--it was formatted at 72dpi for the web and needs to be 300dpi. But regardless, it's cute, I love how the font turned out! What font did you use at the top?
It's beautiful! One tiny thing I would change is to indent your groom's name a little to the right. I think with the names not perfectly aligned it would flow a little better. But it really does look so pretty! (:
darnit - i just realized i was considering putting my wedding website on there as well so guests can look there for gift registry info...worried it'll be too crowded though if i add more text. thoughts? dont' know when else i can let people know about the registry.
@cinema - oh no!!!! pixelated!!!!! the thought of that possibility ran through my head but i was trying to ignore it. i'm planning on sending it out to a printer for printing...any chance they'll be able to fix it? is there a way to un-pixelate it myself? ughhhh. and honestly, i know this sounds stupid because i should have been writing it down, but when i save the image, i compressed all the layers so i can't go back and see what the font is that i used at the top...i just went through every font in the program and can't find it. i'm so sorry! i will keep looking for you.
Mrs Dee to Bee - thank you! that's exactly the type of critique I was looking for. And you are totally right. Gonna move it over now.
jalter that's fine, dont worry about the font!
You can up the dpi (they probably won't be able to) but it may still turn out pixelated... in fact, most likely it will :(
Do a couple of test prints to see how it looks!
PS- are they postcards? if so, you could put the wedding website on the back. If not, I'd make them double sided and put the hotel info and wedding website on the back!
hey jalter... its definitely my bedtime, but PM me if the prints turn out pixelated and I'll try something for it!
Is the hotel room information on your wedding website? If not, could you add it there? That way you could just have the wedding website on the bottom. That way you don't have to worry about things being too crowded.
jordyn - the hotel room info is on the website, but i want people to know immediately how affordable the hotel rooms are. i negotiated like crazy to get those room rates down to that price...i don't want people see it's at the Four Seasons and immediately assume they won't be able to afford to stay there. also - i don't trust most people we're inviting to take the time to visit the website to get the hotel info! it was a great thought though...thank you :)
Could you fit your website under the "formal invitation" line? Or maybe move everything up a smidgen to add more purple space at the bottom?
What software are you using, just out of curiosity?
LittleLynx - yes, I definitely could move the purple up an additional bit at the bottom to make space for the website. I might just end up doing that. I just hope it won't look too crowded, but that is probably the best bet. Thank you!
I am using PaintShopPro. My FI had it on his computer already.
I think I might be screwed by not having a high enough resolution though...ughhhh
Wow, I like it a lot! All the color makes it look really rich and expensive. : ) Nice work!
I LOVE IT! the only thing I might do is bring in the script font a little more, either making the date or the dallas part in script. But if you compressed the layers how are you going to be able to fix it?
Very nice! Reads well and informative! I am getting married in Dallas too:-)
It's really cute! I like it! I'd take out the "guarantee the special nightly rate of $125" because it's better not to mention money on an invitation or STD and put your weddingwebsite url there instead.
Thanks for everyone's feedback! The reason I wanted to put the hotel information on there, including the price, is because the 4 seasons is obviously an expensive hotel, and I bargained really hard to make sure I could get affordable room rates so people could stay there. I am afraid that if people simply see the hotel name without the price they will assume it's too expensive and look elsewhere.
I also do not trust that most people will bother to look at the website even if they do see the website address on the save the date...so I don't think bother or even know they'll find the info there
But the concern over it being inappropriate to put $ issues on a save the date has me worried now.
Other thoughts on putting this info on the save the date when I truly do not expect that people will bother to look at the website?
All I know is if I got an invite that said anything about $125 and the Four Seasons, I would RUN VERY FAST to the nearest phone and make a reservation.
maybe I'm too late but what if you just take out the $125? You could still say "to guarantee a special nightly rate"
I agree with Irishker03-I'd take out the $125 but otherwise I think it looks great!

Hi guys,
Attached is my save the date (with identifying info blanked out). I would love feedback from everyone...is the font too heavy? Does everything look aligned right? Should I move some of the text up/down/left/right?
Thanks so much!
