@Kafrine:  Just as a heads up, your names are on your registry, so if you don’t want that public, maybe take this down? 🙂

Regarding the registry, you only registered for 1 set of silverware (5 pieces).Your knives already come with a block and you registered for a separate one. Also, do you have any serving dishes, platters or bowls? Some other things we registered for were picture frames, duvet, throw blankets, new dishes, barware (wine glasses, etc).

I love your bedding and bathroom schemes! The black/white/gray is such a classic look for a bathroom.

@Kafrine:  How many sets of dishes do you have? I would just match that. We registered for 12 sets of dishes and silverware. I like having big parties and that seemed like a good amount for me.

I hadn’t heard of the knife block building up bacteria! That makes sense and is really icky when you think about it, haha.

BB&B also has stuff like candles, throw pillows, and general decor items that are fun to register for.I have a Shark steam mop that I LOVE (if you have hardwood floors). Do you need laundry baskets/hampers? FUn things like an ice cream maker or popcorn machine? TV trays? I have a folding card table and chair set from WalMart that is awesome when you have guests over. Dish towels?

If you like to cook, I would register for a Le Creuset dutch oven – I use mine all the time. Favorite pot, hands down.

What about picture frames/ other decor items? I would also think about adding things like dish towels, pot holders, etc. Do you have a rug/mat to put in front of the kitchen sink?

the silverware you registered for doesn’t have a steel quality rating…that may be a non-issue for you, but FI insisted on spoons he could scoop ice cream without bending…which means you need 18/10 stainless steel.

Do you already have sets of nice sheets? If not…maybe add another set for when those are in the wash.

18/10 is the highest quality steel, then 18/8. a lot of the lower priced options are 18/0. Here’s an article about it.

Do you need nice pitchers? We havent registered yet, but have a list started of things we need. We will register for glass pitchers for tea & lemonade and also a brita pitcher (and faucet attachment.)

What about another sheet set. I heard you should have at least 3. Do you have a vacuum or a dust buster already? Those are usually good. What about a springform baking pan? Or wooden spoons?
