I just don't see it! He reminds me of the skinny nerdy kid from jr. high. He has a reptilian look to him also. Can someone please explain what the attraction is? What am I not seeing??

I don't think he's bad looking. I'm fairly young compared to him though, so the grey hair doesn't do a heck of alot for me. Otherwise, he seems to actually be quite fit and happy. What more can a girl ask for, looks wise.
I loooovveee him. I think what's so attractive about him is that he's so good at what he does.
I used to watch The Mole back when he started out and I loved him then.
Oh I think he is a cutie! I'm in my late twenties and I think he rocks the all grey/white hair! Plus, I think he is pretty witty on his show, so I think that adds to his appeal.
Meh, he doesn't do it for me, either, but that's probably because I still think of him as the guy from Channel 1 News that we had to watch in school. (Former View co-host Lisa Ling was on it too) But I can see the appeal, I suppose. He's not bad looking. Maybe it's the whole "silver fox" thing?
I don't think he's hot....but I find him very charmng, and intelligent. Maybe that's part of it?
Ummm, because he IS? :) Seriously though, I love that he's a humanitarian on top of being a journalist. Not many people are willing to go right into the thick of things as they're happening. Can you imagine Gerlado Rivera picking up a Haitian boy and carrying him to safety?

I think he's hot too! And I agree with all of the reasons. He's caring, intelligent, charming, etc. I think there's just something about him!
The gays love him. If anyone reads dlisted - the guy on there is always posting about "Silver Fox".
He's quite attractive, but he is VERY femmy - he is so obviously gay, and I think thats why the gays love him. He's very successful and good looking.
I think it also has to do with the fact that he's smart! And he's not an asshole.
i don't see it either. I agree it's probably alot of boys that like him..... but maybe the Vanderbuilt money that's coming to him?

Also, the boys like him because he's openly gay. Just FYI (bummer though).

@2PeasinaPod: Yeah he's not openly gay. Well, not openly like "I'm Silver Fox and I'm gay" on air, type of gay. But I know there's been tons of sightings of him at gay bars, and with boys, and people that work with him on the show saying stuff about his gayness. He just hasn't come out on air.
For me, it is a combination of his silver hair, soulful eyes and fit body. He's just sexy - I can't really explain it.
Well, I'll be damned. Learn something new every day. (Not the being gay part, I was already aware of the speculation on that)

I don't see it either, but maybe it's because he kind of looks like my brother. Well, except my brother doesn't have the grey hair. But, no for real, my brother has very similar facial features and the girls have always fawned all over him, so I guess he must be hott! I don't see it, though....
@2PeasinaPod: Yup! He doesn't go on about it, but he certainly doesn't hide it either. He hasn't gone on the air and made an announcement, but he lives his life as a gay man and that's that:)

i love me some AC - he did a shoot at my hotel and everyone across the board devolved into giggling girls / boys over him. hi mother is gloria vanderbilt... and yes he is definitely gay (not that it matters in the least -- there just seemed to be a question about it in a previous post).

I love Anderson Cooper. I never thought of him as "hot", but he's a very attractive person-- smart, witty, fit, dresses well, good looking, humanitarian... We could totally be BFF's ;)
It's the fact that he's such a humanitarian and absolutely brilliant. Love him!
