@bRooklynRocks: I really like the ruched look. I thought I wanted more of a ball gown/a-line dress but when I tried on the fit-n-flare ruched look it looked great! I loved how I looked in it and everything. The main problem I'm running into is that most ruched trumpet fit dresses have beading or jewels and my wedding is at my family's farm outside. I don't want something too formal. I really like the dress above so if anyone can help me out please let me know. Or if you know of a dress that looks like it even.
I attached some pictures from my last trip. I loved the top of the ruched one but hated the bottom and the train. I loved the second one but didn't know if it was weddingy enough. What do you think?
Possibly Paloma Blanca 4054. Definitely look at that website, regardless, as there are lots of dresses with ruched bodices and various bottoms. While I think the second dress is pretty, I think it covers up your beautiful figure.
The ruched look does look great on you! Love it. I like the one shoulder one much less.
Here is a 'rouching' dress by Mikaella (1406), gorgeaous with no bling or beading.
i love the second one! it's definitely "weddingy" enough and would be so cute in a farm wedding!
but if you really want ruching, that mikaella is gorgeous. i thought sottero and midgely's adorae looked a little formal for my garden wedding, so i would think the same for yours. if you love it though, who cares if it's too formal!
Can you tell I'm not doing much at work? You'd love my friend's dress that she wore on June 5th but I'm not sure who the designer is. I'll see if I can find out.
@Kitty Kat: I agree- this dress is a great alternative!! Very pretty and looks alot like her original picture.
@Kitty Kat: I like the top of this one too but I do not want pick-ups at all. I'm still looking for the top one.
you cant see it but its completely ruched on top. this dress is by ines di santo
@pec1216: no joke, you look like the dress model in the ruched look (not the belt one). i never say it fits like a glove, but i have to make an exception. it fits like a glove!
My friend wore the mikaella dress for her wedding this september and it looked aboslutly stunning on!
ohhh here is my dress! its ruched like that with just a small area of beading and a sweep train! (although i had my train lengthened :))
edit: and its very affordable! eden bridals 1379
@pamplemousse: Thank you so much! I loved how it fit and everything but just wanted something more simple. I hate how the sales people sometimes try to tell you that you need to try on a size or two bigger than your normal size. At both of my last stops I told them my size and that's what they pulled and that's what fit! But thanks again for the sweet comment! I really appreciate it!
Do you remember who the designer of dress 1 with the ruching is, or the name? It is gorgeous! :)
