How about both? It's almost impossible to leave green out of the floral equation anyway, and personally I think an extra color adds depth and sophistication. Why not add yellow plus a touch of green?
I was just about to make the same suggestion as @NotYourTypicalBride. I think you should use both green and yellow :)
Here's an inspiration board I found:

I agree with both. I kind of consider green a neutral, so yellow would be a nice pop.
i hadn't thought of doing both, that's a great idea! although to be perfectly honest, we are probably only looking to do one or the other. great suggestion though, it would definitely solve my dilemma! :)
I saw a gorgeous black, white, and yellow wedding photo shoot on Style Me Pretty today:
super classy :)
I agree with using both. I just found some really cute yellow/green bouquets on google today, but I'm on my phone and can't share them right now. :(
Otherwise, I'd say go with orange!
Oh, I just wanted to add that I was thinking about a St. Patrick's Day wedding a couple days ago. I'm jealous. :P
We did green, black and white at our wedding. I LOVE the color combo!
yellow is my favorite color, so I'm partial to that and it's so gorgeous with black and white.
I vote green because I think it will be super cute with it being st patty's day :) but I might be biased because black and green are my favorite colors, especially together!
thanks for all your opinions!!! i think i am going with green!! :)
just have to convince my fiance now, haha!
@NotYourTypicalBride: I agree, the last bouquet is a mixture of the two, and it looks very fresh, and beautiful.
I love the green, but I am partial to it since it was my wedding color. We also had black and white primarily with punches of green. My bridesmaids wore black dresses, with apple green shoes, and the groomsmen wore black suits with black shirts and green ties (I liked the look, even though Moore's said it would look funny, and it looked great throughout the night when they took the jackets off). We had green hydrangias, and I had awesome green shows.
I vote both! Use one as a main color and the other as an accent.
Im a st. Patty's Bride too!! yay!. I definitely vote for apple green!
Green looks plain to me. IDK why. Yellow pops and seems more unique to me.
it was a tough choice since i really loved both looks, but we chose apple green and i can't wait to see it all come together!
@Pugsandkisses: LOVE that picture! that's exactly the look i'm going for, we must have great taste! and those shoes are amazing! would you mind sharing where you found them?
@peacockchris: whoohoo! 386 days!!! :)

my lovely bees, i really need your help for this one!!! i am at an indecisive standstill with my accent color and would really appreciate your input!
so here's the deal: we are getting married on st. patrick's day next year. we are doing a classic black and white theme with black linens and black bridesmaids dresses. the only color we are really bringing in will be with the florals, so we want it to really be beautiful! we are between lemon yellow and apple green. i originally always wanted green, but we got nervous that would be too cliche since we are having our wedding on st. patrick's day so we chose yellow. now i am leaning more towards green again and need help deciding! my fiance would be fine with either, but is leaning more toward yellow. please help! :)
LEMON YELLOW:
with my bouquet something like this:
APPLE GREEN:
with my bouquet something like this:
if it helps to know, the bride with the green bouquet is actually wearing my dress. :)
sorry if these pictures are too big, just copied them from google image!
