When you buy a dress from someone be sure not to use paypal. Check out escrow.com for buyer and seller safety.

@bricon:  Out of curiousity, why is paypal bad for this type of transaction? Is there a thread on this?

Transactions can be cancelled and there’s a time limit issue. A seller can drag their feet getting the dress to you and exceed your dispute time limit. Escrow hold the money in escrow for buyer to receive dress and approve the transaction and for the buyer it tells you when the money is secure so you can send the dress out. There is a time drag in paypal that scammers can use to their advantage. There is a cost with using escrow.com but for me it was worth piece of mind! 🙂

Just to give you more info I purchased the dress  this past February for 1100.00. Unfornately I can’t wear it because we had to put our wedding on hold due to my fiancé’s medical issues. I have never even taking it out the garment bad (too sad) but it is style 2083 never altered and just an all around beautiful dress. Just let me know how much your willing to pay because I truly would be happy if someone gets to wear it:) Contact me for pics and any questions you may have.
