I am attempting to find this dress or one similar. I saw someone posted on here that it is a dress from Essence of Australia… but that post was from four years ago and I am unable to find it now. If this dress is no longer made does anyone know where I can find one that looks similar? I love the simplicity, modesty, and elegance of it. Thank you!

I am sorry that I cannot help you find that dress, but I will tell you that having such a plain skirt like that is a pain because it wrinkles very easily. My dress was similar because like you I wanted something elegent with little embellishment. Every time I sat down the entire front folded up so in all my photos you can see creases across the front.
I’m not trying to discourage you, but just to let you know. I wish I had been warned ahead of time!
Maybe try ebay or recycled bride. Do you have a style number for the dress? I have a feeling if it’s that old it may be hard to find.

This one is a two-piece gown with a very plain strapless satin dress underneath and a removeable long-sleeved lace overdress. Maybe you could look into getting this one and just using the bottom part, and then getting a short-sleeved lace jacket to put over the top of it, similar to your picture?
It’s from David’s, not super expensive – not sure if it comes in the full range of sizes, but if you’re smaller you might be able to have it taken in?

@country chic: oh my gosh- thank you- I hadn’t heard anything like that before, about the wrinkles. It’s crazy what you learn on here. 🙂 I really like the simple look though- too bad. (And I kdont know what style number is.) I found that picture on the internet and researched it to find out where it came from as far as designer goes. THANK YOU THANK YOU though for your advice.
