Hi everyone. I need help deciding between Maggie Sottero Nova and Justin Alexander 8602. They have similar shape but different in detailing. I already bought the Nova, thinking that since I am having an afternoon wedding it would be more appropriate but now I am having second thoughts. I would be curious to know how other bees feel about these two dresses. Thanks in advance!

The second one looks so great on you! It might be because the first one is a bit loose, but it just doesn’t have the WOW factor that the second one does!

I kind of like the first one better but really like them both. It’s hard to tell because it’s loose. It also could be even better if it was a little more sweetheart style. So my vote is for the first one with an enhanced sweetheart. They’re both beautiful on you so there is no wrong choice 🙂

At first, I was drawn to the second one because you are so curvy in it, but then I thought that it’s probably not the dress but the fitting. So, imagining that the first was fitted, I decided I prefer the first dress. I’m not a big fan of silver bling and with how fitted that dress is, the deep sweatheart is a little sexy for my personal tastes. I think the swoop on 1 is still attractive but not as sexy, which I prefer for a wedding dress, though others may not.

I think the first will look better once it gets fitted. If you want a bit of bling you can always add accessories.

i think you should have your own dress fitted before making any decisions! it’s a beautiful dress but is currently hanging off you, so with the right fit it will probably look stunning! the second dress is gorgeous but very va-va-voom! and if you’re having an afternoon wedding, might be a bit too much, if you get me?

I like the 2nd one! I think that’s the Maggie? (If it is, I think you’re poll might be off, because people think the 1st one is the Maggie.

The 2nd one is gorgeous!!

they are both gorgeous! once the 1st once is fitted to your size, it would look just as great i think. if you want some bling, add a sash! both are beautiful though 🙂

Thanks so much everyone for your input 🙂 I agree the first dress probably would look better once it is better fitted. I do feel more “bridal” in it but the second dress is just so “wow.” So I’m still confuse but maybe I can consider adding some accessories to the dress I already have (the Maggie). The bridal salon suggested maybe adding a broach or something on the left lower bodice just above the ruffle. It could add a little something.
I guess also another obsticle to getting the second dress is that I basically have to pay for another dress. Then I don’t know what to do with the 1st dress. Maybe sell it online? Has anyone been in this situation? Advice?

The first dress will look stunning once it is fitted correctly. Right now it is just hanging off you and looks drab. You can easily add a beautiful belt to add bling, and it would be cheaper than buying a 2nd dress. You could always see if at alterations they could make the top of your dress more sweetheart like the 2nd one, if you like a more sweetheart neckline.

I think there’s too much going on in the second one; I vote the first one!
