Are the pics in the same order as the numbers? Where is the 5th choice?

I like the 2nd the best but they are all VERY similar can they not just have different dresses in the same colour?

Is it possible to change the dress numbers to a description of the dress? I think you’ll get better poll results that way.

I like the one with the bow around the waist & the first dress w/ the sweetheart neckline.

Are the first two pics of the same dress? or different? what’s the difference? I like it/them best. πŸ™‚

on the models, I like the one with the thin belt the best, but unless all of your girls have model like bodies, that little belt will look ridiculous/add visual thickness to the waist of anyone who’s straight or got any pudge (I speak from experience; I don’t know WHY I torture myself with trying on belted dresses over and over, haha).

Not a huge fan of the different fabric along the sweetheart of the last one.

ps – didn’t vote in the poll because I’m unclear as to which dress is which (5 choices, but only 3/4 dress pictured?)

No worries πŸ™‚ it’s hard to make these polls totally user-friendly (and to not slant them towards your own preferences, haha, like “the ugly last dress or the beautiful first one” — that’s always the hardest part for me, staying objective!)

The pictures don’t seem to all be posting and it’s hard to tell what the order is, so I’ll say that I think I like the 6509 After Six best, BUT: they are all fairly similar and I believe Dessy and After Six come in the same colors (or at least complimentary ones), so I would go ahead and let each girl pick the one she likes. It’s all the rage these days! πŸ˜‰ If you really want matching dresses, then I think it’s safe to just pick one–whichever you like, and they can deal. They are all super similar dresses, so it’s not like one is greater than all the others in a way that will offend another bridesmaid πŸ˜‰

@daydream: I thought dresses with belts are supposed to visually slim women who are a little bit, um, more blessed in the middle? Blah sorry I didn’t know how to word it!

I thought the pleats & the belt would be flattering to more shapes & sizes, but I guess I was wrong!! My vote goes to the 1st dress then, unless your girls are boobalicious? Sheesh… I’ll change it again to the 3rd dress. It’s the most flattering for all shapes & chests lol πŸ™‚

Hey, @lamdesign07, your posting problem MIGHT be the file type on the 5th dress photo. Your other 4 all uploaded as .png, but the fifth one (which doesn’t work) is trying to upload as a .gif. WB may not support .gif. If you’re not super stressed over this whole uploading fiasco, maybe try re-saving that pic as a different file type and re-upload πŸ™‚

@RecessionistaBride – yeah, I’ve heard that OVER AND OVER again, but I have NEVER found it to be true! I’m very straight (not ‘fat’, just … shaped kinda like a boy, with a bit of a tummy pooch when I’m bloated haha) and belts … well they don’t flatter.

Belts at the natural waist tend to make my pooch stick out more below, especially really thin ones. Belts at the hip tend to make my pooch look like it’s threatening to hang over the belt (seriously though, I’m NOT fat!! Just belt challenged!). Sashes just below the bust are pretty much the only thing I can pull off… and don’t even get me started on wrap dresses!

The other thing with belts on waist-line challenged women is that it’s hard to get them to fit flush. If you’ve got a nice tight set of abs, you can cinch a belt up and it’s gorgeous, but if you’re soft and mushy through the middle, pulling it tight just makes your ‘squishy’ squish out the sides – gross! Wearing it loose makes it droopy. Not to mention, unless you have PERFECT posture, loose and tight is different depending on whether you’re standing or sitting.

…yeah. belts make me angry, hahaha

ooooooooooooooh I love love love the last one (the one you linked to) ~ that would look GREAT on a lot of bodies!! The skirt flare is very forgiving πŸ™‚
