Trying to figure out what to do.. I bought this Pnina Tornai dress thinking it was my dream dress but now I'm not so sure. The floral crystal details definitely fit in with my garden theme but looking at the dress now I don't feel like it has a real "wow" factor. When I bought the dress it was the 1st mermaid style I tried on, and before that I was completely against them. Since then I have been questioning myself thinking I should have tried on more of this style before committing. So bottom line I recently found this Kenneth Pool dress "Romantic" which I am in love with and am considering purchasing. (Btw I do not have any pics of me in the dresses) What do you think?

#1 by far is my favorite, I think its absolutely gorgeous & has plenty of "wow" factor!
I'm not a fan of mermaid styles but #1 is definatly better. The design is far more interesting to the eye and the flow of the dress is also more pleasing. #2 just goes from straight to BOOM! #1 all the way!
I'll be honest- I'm not really a Pnina fan, but I do really love that dress! Like the deep sweetheart and the bling. #1 please!
OMG #1 all the way. It's so gorgeous, dreamy romantic, etc.!
#2 is just meh for me.
The Pnina's definitely more "wow". I have a feeling it also has an amazing fit and looks even better on. You can wear it with a mermaid crinoline if it's the more poofy skirt that's tempting you on the other dress.
That dress is stunning and so much nicer than the second one!! Its gorgeous It definitely has that wow factor honey!!! The second one of more simple everyone has something like that. Honestly. Wow i love your dress :]
Agreed with previous posters that the Pnina definitely wins in the wow category--there are so many dresses like that Kenneth Pool out there, but the Pnina is unique, and in a good way (unlike many of her dresses...).
The first one has more wow and fits a garden theme better than the second. Having said that I personally prefer the second dress, but I think it would not be smart to buy another dress, especially given your reasons.
i prefer the second one! depending on your body type, the first dress' bustline might dip too far in the front.
Love the Pnina. The way the fabric draws my eye is much more pleasing than the second one. I think it fits a garden theme perfectly too. The second one is a little bleh to me too.
Oh, wow. Usually I am not such a fan of the Pnina dresses, but that one is gorgeous. It's dramatic without being drastic.
They look really similar to me, LOL. I actually think the first one has more wow factor :)
It was a tough decision because they're both beautiful but I voted for #1.
dude #2 is like mary ann but #1 is like GINGER! :) VA VA VOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
#1! You've seen it on and love it. Dresses look amazing... on the model. Don't second guess you got it right. Good luck!
The Pnina has more "wow" in my opinion. The Kenneth Pool is gorgeous as well, but I feel like there are so many dresses that look similar.
#1 all the way!!! It reminds me alot of the Adorae dress by Sottero & Midgley but better!
First one hands down! I think it has a better fit and I love the pronounced sweetheart neckline. Plus, I love the embelishments on the dress.
DEFINTIELY the Kenneth Pool. Take it from me-- my best friend bought a Pnina gown and it was such a waste of money. The beads are GLUED on and quite often the dresses don't come in as they were ordered (as you can see by watching Say Yes to the Dress). Kenneth Pool dresses are made by Amsale and are MUCH better quality. My sister bought an Amsale dress and it was stunning. The Amsale store in New York has really great service and they don't treat you like a factory. Also, the second dress is just classier.
Everything that the Kenneth Pool has, your dress has 10x better. Seriously! I wouldn't change a thing about your dress it is AMAZING!
Hands down, the Kenneth Pool is nicer...love the skirt...the Pnina looks a bit "old". THe KP is much more modern.
Do you have a pic in either of them, that would be so helpful. They are both beautiful so you couldn't go wrong. However, I think the kenneth pool romantic dress will give everyone goosebumps.
I love both of them but I would have to go with #1. The bust line just gives it that extra WOW factor.
Thank you so much everyone!! I appreciated all your comments.. It's been a difficult decision but im going to stick with my dress! Congratulations and good luck to you all.
Congrats on making your choice :) It's a beautiful dress and I'm sure you will look gorgeous on your wedding day!
@RIbride4488: Your dress looks a lot like Maggie Sottero's, "Gwenyth"! I love it

ooo gorgeous.. hard to decide but the 1st one IMO is the better out of the 2.
