I am having minor dress regret but I am less then 6 weeks out from the wedding so we are going to ignore all regret at this point. The entire reason I bought my dress was because of this beautiful lace jacket that goes over it for the Ceremony… well jacket far from fits and is going to cost a fortune to rework and make fit so that might not be happening. Also the back on this dress is so low that it falls right below one of my natural back fat rolls and putting on a corset will just make it 100 times worse so here is me in the dress with no under garmets size 16 (the salon reccommended I buy an 18 at 20% higher cost so I refussed their advice hence the jacket problem
Now this is what the dress is supposed to look like with the jacket
I am going to wear a navy sash with crystals in it so I was thinking these shoes
Only issue is me and my Fi are the same height and these are a 4 inch heal…. I need a 3 inch heal to avoid having to alter the length of my gown
I am thinking this necklace
I am completely open to ideas and suggestions please help

Ohhhh…. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the jacket!! I totally makes the dress transform:):) Are you having the jacket altered at the bridal shop? Sometimes if you can find a great seamstress locally, you can get great work done at half the cost! Shades of blue can vary. I would probably suggest getting a dyeable shoe and then matching it exactly to the sash (rather than having multiple “shades”…unless of course that’s the color scheme you’re going for)
I’m not crazy about the necklace IF you do the lace jacket… I just feel it might be too much going on there. If you do the jacket, I might opt for a simple pearl or crystal 1 or 2 strand necklace (but JMO)
As for the shoes, if you go dyeable, you can get them in pretty much any size heel (and if you can find the exact style and heel height with the crystal embellishment you’re looking for, you could always order shoes clips)
Hope this helps and good luck:):)

I think you look fabulous in that dress without the jacket!
What is the fit problem with the jacket? If the sleeves fit, and the bodice is the problem you could have them open it down the middle of the back and add ribbon ties. You could even use blue ribbon.
Caparros Amelia has a 2 3/4 inch heel:
Glint Radiance has a 3 1/4″ heel

Thank you everyone for the awesome advice… I will have to look into dyeable shoes. As far as the jacket goes it does not fit my arms so a bit of lace needs to be added there and it does not come close to closing in the back about 3 inches shy. The lace has bead work in it so it has to be speical ordered from the designer (maggie Sottero) I haven’t gotten a price quote but if it is more then 200 I will just find a cheap subsitute from Davids.
julies1949 those are some super cute shoes! I think I want a closed toe though because it will be December but I will keep those in mind.
mchitt329 Thank you for finding those shoes for me I love the stuart Weitzman’s!!!
