I was wondering how much I should tip to various vendors: photo, hair, makeup, cake, etc. Also, my reception is at a fabulous place where a paid an all inclusive fee for cake, music, food, place, etc. I wanted to tip this lady since she has been so great. And also, she is providing me a ‘day of cooordinator’ that I would like to tip since this is a free service. I am giving tips to all the servers there(included in my price that I will provide to waiters on wedding day.) but I want to tip her and the coordinator.
I want to be fair to all the special people working so hard to provide me a fabulous day. But I want to do it within reason. Would love any and all responses!
Thanks in advance 🙂

It depends on the total cost of your wedding (and what you can afford of course). But I’d recommend $100 each.

My makeup only costs 175 and hair cost 150. That would be way too much to give them. I was thinking maybe a percent value? like 10 or 20%?

It depends on if the hair stylist owns her own business or not. Is she coming to your location or are you going to a salon?
As for the coordinators and the nice lady, that is your decision since they are being paid to do their job which is likely a salary job (not hourly like servers) $50 would be fine for them.
I wouldnt tip the photographer if they own their own business. Really anyone who owns their own business I wouldnt tip.

I have also heard that if they own their own business tipping is not expected.
