I have no idea what is going on with me! The following things that i list have all happened in the last week and i have NO IDEA if they are related or not. Im not looking for medical advice, per say, just any suggestions would be welcome.
On monday i visited my grandma and her cat was all lovey with me and rubbing on me and i was petting him and letting him rub his head on my chin. all was well until he got down and my chin and neck was red and itchy with little flea looking bites. i washed my face and neck- not knowing what else to do. Let me remind you that i have had a cat for 10 years..
Tuesday i was getting ready for work and i had bright red cirlce rash on my face (where the cat had loved me) it was very noticeable and itchy and people kept asking me what was wrong with my face all day. Later that night(11pm) my entire body broke out in a hot burning rash. arms legs, and hands. we cotemplated going to the ER but decided against it. I woke up in the AM and it was gone.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday have gonethe same way. The spot on my face is basically just dry skin now. But every night around 10 i break out in a rash on my hand, arms, and legs. Its so weird. Im allergic to sulfa which is in medications but i have not taken any medicine. There is no new soaps or lotion or laundry detergent..same ole same ole.
Ive also been having stomach pain yesterday and today occasionally. It might just be gas but i really have NO IDEA. Its so weird and i have absolutely no explanation for it.
I am going to try and get into the doctor tomorrow but any thoughts would be much appreciated.

First piece of advice:
Don’t take advice from internet strangers, go see a doctor!
The chin issues are likely related to that cat. People can have different levels of allergies to different pets. Maybe the cat had fleas, who knows? Hard to say where or whether the stomach pain fits in, but that’s a question for your doctor.

Could the cat have been washed with a new shampoo?

@crystalrae i wont take anything anyone says too seriously but i was just looking to see if anyone had ANY type of similar reactions lol. Im thinking the face is related to the cat, most def. But is the body rash related to the cat/face? The cat just did go to the vet for fleas. SO the face i am not as worried about. But the body rash only atnight kinda freaks me out.

Are you in constant contact with the cat?
If the cat has been removed from your environment I highly doubt it would persist over multiple days on a “regular schedule” so to speak.

@hyperventilate I have not seen the cat since Monday.

@xoxo_712: Does the cat go outside? Because it may have come into contact with something and in turn now you have come into contatc with it.
Go to the doctor.

I only discovered I was allergic to seafood a year and a half ago, even after being around seafood for the first 10 years of my life and working with seafood for 3 years. It might be something in the shampoo the cat was washed with? Hopefully you can get it sorted soon 🙂
