I'm getting married this December so the wedding will have a winter/christmas theme, but I can't choose between these dresses! Both styles are so different, the fabric, shape everything! The two are polar opposites but i love them both so please help me decide!
This is the first dress by Sottero and Midgeley

The second is by The White One

Thanks for your help xx
your poll only has an option for dress two and I choose dress one! LOL!
I'm not trying to be snarky, but if I never see the adorae again, it will be too soon.
I much prefer the second dress! I'm partial to the flowy/soft/romantic look.
I like 1, but I would personally want the cleavage toned down. That, I think, is about fit and undergarments, not the dress itself. And, anyway, you might be comfortable with the cleavage as is. I think your body just looks so much more awesome in that dress.
I think the first dress by Sottero and Midgeley looks great on you.
I like the first one, but both look great on you. The reason I chose the first one was because I think the lace on the second (which I think are flowers, I could be wrong) make it look more Spring-y, and the satin makes me think more of winter :)
I think dress #1 looks much better on you...but also is more my style...
Dress 1 by a mile. They're both beautiful but dress 1 really makes you look amazing...and tiny! Dress 2 doesn't have the same effect, IMHO.
Dress #1 looks better on you in my opinion. However, Dress #2 looks good on you, and it's not as common as Dress #1.
Even though dress 1 is very popular with lots of brides you can see why. You look amazing in that 1. It's very flattering on your figure. I feel like dress 2 makes you loo a little shorter than you are? But you could wear anything you look gorgeous :)
#1 looks so Christmas-y and makes you look thin and curvy.
I voted for the second, but its probably heavily influenced by the fact that I've seen the Adorae way too many times. They both look good on you though : )
Well I have to admit that dress 1 looks fab on you even though I dislike the mummy wrap thing in general. On some gals, it looks great!
Not to be a snot, but I can't for the life of me figure out why brides keep wearing Adorae. That belt is NOT in a flattering spot on anyone- if they had dropped the belt like three inches it would be 100% better.
Both look incredible on you, but I think the second dress is better. It hits your waist at the narrowest part, which you could emphasize even more with a sparkly belt like the first one has.
i like the style of the second one better, but the first is SOSO flattering so i voted for that one
I think the first dress is absolutely gorgeous on you! I usually love ball gowns, but I honestly do not like the second dress nearly as much as I like the first one.
I have to agree with the commenter - Sailor. The first dress looks like every other dress I see these days. All the gathering and 'rouche'ing is very trendy. I always think about what I will say when I look back at my photos in 20 years. I think the second one is just so much more elegant and timeless. Or perhaps finding one that is a 'marriage' of both dresses. :) Just my opinion!
I love the first one because it looks so sophisticated but chose the second because I see it more as a winter wonderland dress. You can't go wrong either way!
Well the first one is my dress so I'm partial to that one!
Don't worry about people telling you they've seen it too much. The only reason they've seen it so much is because they're on wedding boards.
I had no idea it was even a popular dress until I searched it on here to see if anyone else had it. All my friends/family I've shown it to have thought it was beautiful and have no idea it's a 'popular dress'
But you're beautiful in both!
@pinkfrog: Interesting point about the belt. I think that probably is true. I would encourage OP to find a dress like the Adorae but one that either doesn't come with the belt or allows for customization of the belt.
@priodi: The first makes the most out of your gorgeous figure...but I do not really like the dress or fabric. The second dress is gorgeous and you look great in it as well! Second!
#1 by a landslide!!! I think your future husband would agree. ;) They're both very pretty, but the first one makes you catch your breath it's so stunning! I wouldn't change the belt either... it's beautiful.
The first looks more winter-y to me, so I vote for numero uno! Both are beautiful on you though. :o)
I wouldn't change the belt either... I think that having a detailed, blingy belt right at the smallest part of your waist often makes it look bigger instead of the desired result...
Love the adorae on you! Looks so classy and beautiful. I think you look a little swallowed up in the second one.
I picked dress one since the adorae is simply stunning on you. i also chose the adorae for my winter wedding, i think the satin is perfect for that time of year. we're also getting married a week apart, so cool.
#2... I don't like anything about trains with bubble hems because it looks like you're dragging a comforter behind you, and I'm also a little 'over' the Adorae. BUT! You look gorgeous in it. I like #2, but are there any other options you're considering?
Wow I so much prefer the second. I am sooo tired of the first dress - not just that dress but the approximately 50% of wedding dresses now that look just like it. The second one is totally giving me a sugar plum fairy vibe so I really think it could work for a winter wedding -- it would just be a different type of winter vibe (frothy snow goddess vs. dramatic glamour). Both dresses look great on you but in the first pic I think, "generic 2012 bride" and the second I just think, "beautiful"!
I see why you are having a tough time deciding. I think both are equally amazing on you - truly!! I chose #2 only because the Adorae has been really popular (for a reason), and I'm drawn to the dress I haven't seen before.
#1 is a knockout, but #2 is more pretty
I love option one so i voted for it but i would say that two would be more classic and you wouldnt have such of a "wow what was the fashion back then" moment in 20 years time.
Both are very pretty and you look great in both... but #1 is more winter #2 is more spring.
These are TOTALLY different styles of dress and I think we need to know what kind of wedding you are having. So, is this a hotel wedding? Vineyard wedding? Give us some details. Do you want to look set, with a curve-hugging dress or elegant and romantic?
I personally prefer the more romantic, 2nd dress...but I'm having a vineyard wedding.
