Like many brides, I have had the most difficult time finding my dress!!  I guess I am way more pickier and indecisive than I thought!  This is so frustrating, I've gone to so many bridal shops, I can't even count.  I even went to Kleinfelds in NY!!  OMG!  I am posting pics of dresses I have tried on, but can't find "real" people wearing them anywhere.  Most of the ones I tend to like are Maggie Sottero, which I hate because everyone seems to have a Maggie!  I can't blame them, because they are beautiful.  I am open to suggestions.  I am 5'3 very petite, so I want something that isn't going to swallow me or shorten me even more!!  Here are the ones I would love to see REAL PEOPLE in!!  Please POST PICS IF YOU HAVE ANY, OR FIND ANY!!!

    This is me:

@Anabella:  No. I need to get some at the next place I go to.  A lot of the places don't allow it in my area at least!

FWIW, I think the one least likely to shorten you is Parisianna. They are all gorgeous though. Sneak some pics next time and we can be more helpful! :) P.S. You are gorgeous girl!

i really really like #1 and 3.  I do not like #5 it makes me think of almost a victorian type feel, also i do not think that bonning on corset tops look good for a wedding (not becuz ppl say it is "for the bedroom", but because it draws focus to it).  Ok as for #2 i dont like particularily the way the folds in the botton are it is very very billowy. #4 is a little hard to see, but it looks nice as well, I would go with #3 as my  fav for sure, i think how the material kind of criss crosses draws the ribs and waist in visually and the beading on the top is gorgeous!!

    hope this helps.

Parisianna looks like a modified a-line, which is what I got. Everything else just made me look too curvy and short. I am 110 lbs and 5 ft tall. :)

1, 2, and 5 look like they would swallow you up. 4 is okay, but when I put dresses on with that much going on on the bottom half I felt like I looked shorter because you didn't look at my face, you looked at all the pickups and stuff.

Edit--remember too to stay away from dresses with too much detail on the bottom....I swear they cut like two feet off my dress!!! Lol

Can I ask why kind of wedding theme you're using? Perhaps that might give you some help/direction? If you're worried about looking short, you may want to avoid a dropped waist. They tend to accentuate things in the wrong proportions. Best of luck to you!

You are beautiful and I'm sure can pull off any dress.

The dresses will always look/fit different on but I love dress #4.

Thank you everyone for your comments!  I don't really have a theme, but my venue is a big, castle-like place.  My main concerns about the dresses are just the style and fit making me look a lot shorter.  I do tend the like the pick-ups, but I don't want it so big and puffy that it will swallow me.  I will take some pics next time I go to the store and be sure and post, because they look completely different on!!

Have you tried Jenny Lee? Her dresses are more elegant and a little more simple but beautifully made.  I think they range in price from $3-5 thousand. I don't know what your budget is.

I have not tried Jenny Lee, but my budget is $2000 and under.  I'm going to check out some bridal salons tomorrow, so I will try and post some actual pics of me wearing these dresses, so I can get a better vote.

    Thanks Everyone!!
