I’ll be wearing a cathedral drop veil for the ceremony with my dress but I want to replace that with a headpiece for the reception. I really wanted this hair flower from an Etsy seller:-
but after obessesing over stuff on the Tejani website, I came across this headpiece and love, love, love it:-
Now, I can’t decide and need your help!
Here’s my look so far…
My dress (It’ll be taken in at the hips and the butt so it’ll be more of a mermaid and I’ll be getting an off-the-shouder lace bolero made for the ceremony so it looks like the Sottero Amara Rose):-
I’ll be wearing my hair up, probably like one of these styles, but I haven’t decided yet, so all opinions are welcome:-

@WYAtocha: I like the idea of the flower headpuece to tie in with the flower of your belt. It all looks lovely so far!

I prefer the comb since it is shiny like your other accessories, but you won’t have another flower competing with your sash.

@Missy_Star: @LLemonDifficult: Thank you, ladies, for letting me know what you think! 🙂

I prefer the comb – it picks up on the silver in your other accessories which helps to harmonize your overall look.

Since you’re already going to have a flower on your sash I voted for the hair comb. Either one is pretty though!

I would vote for only one flower, remember the flowers in the comb and on the belt will be different species, so they will possibly clash. even the comb you have there has got flowers, i would go for a no flower comb or a jenny packham style headpiece. also, what about your bouquet? from what I can see it looks as if you have lovely abundant hair, do you have any more pics? for more hairstyle input.

@Miss Circe: @Kayshrop: thanks so much for your input, ladies! It definitely gives me food for thought!!!
@scarsbee: I don’t have pictures of my hair at the moment. I’ll try to take some when I get home tonight. I do have quite a bit of hair but it’s very fine and straight and doesn’t hold curls very well. Since I’ll be wearing a cathedral drop veil, my hairdresser suggested I have an updo that starts higher up so it can carry the weight of the veil better…but I can’t find one I really like! So if you have any suggestions, I would love, love, love to hear them! And thank you soooo much for your input!

@Kayshrop: +1. I think you already have a flower on the sash, so you don’t need another. Two would be too busy. And plus, the hair clip is gorgeous!

I would definitely go with the comb from Tejani! It is more subtle, yet elegant, like your dress! And I agree with LLemonDifficult, having a flower in your hair and on your belt is too repititious.

@WYAtocha: Both are really pretty but I am def loving the Tejani comb more and think it will compliment your other accessories perfectly! You look stunning in your dress!

I think you have a lot going on with the accesories, so I would leave out the hair flower. But everything looks gorgeous!

I think the flower comb is absolutely stunning.

@WYAtocha: Looks like a great ensemble! I pick the hair comb because you already have the flower on your sash, I think both would be too much – they would compete instead of compliment eachother.
