I LOVE shoes but decided I wasn’t going to make a big fuss about my wedding shoes. I knew i wanted a lower heel, comfortable, nude and lace. Not asking much right?! lol
I have searched online high and low and have not found any so I was getting ok with the idea of just wearing an a pair of open toed nude heels I alredy own.
Today at DSW I found my nude lace heels, I love them!
BUT now i can’t decide if they will be a good fit for my champagne dress with an ivory overlay! I feel now there might be too much lace??
I even thought get rid of the nude and do an ivory lace heel?
So here it is, the exact same shoe. One lace, one not lace. Which would go better with my dress?!
Non lace shoe
Side by side
EDIT: Another idea I had was to do a blush heel, not lace. All my girls will have shades of blush.

The lace shoes are lovely but I wouldn’t do lace shoe with a lace dress.

Your dress is beautiful and fits very well! I voted for the non-lace shoes.

The more I think about it the more I think a blush heel would be the way to go? All my girls will have blush dresses and nude heels so then mine would somewhat be opposite to theirs.
Something like this with a lower heel.

@soontobehisbride: love the slingback light pink ones! Slingbacks are super comfortable to me as well!

@misschickpea: I just found these too. Do they seem too pink? I think I have totally forgotten about my nude shoes now! Blush it is!

@soontobehisbride: no to the lace shoes. it will be way too much with your lace dress. they will be competing.
i like the blush slingbacks.

I like the nude lace. I think the lace will blend in. Honestly, no one is really going to see more than a peek of your shoe for most of the wedding.
I don’t care for leather shoes with formal dresses. If I was going to go with non-lace I would try to find a fabric shoe.

I don’t care for lace shoes and I would NEVER do lace shoes with a lace dress so I voted for the other nude shoes. They look very nice!
