$15 pp really doesn’t sound bad at all! Have you looked into any other restaurants in St. Louis? If so, could you share what information/pricing you have gotten? Our wedding is also in St. Louis and I have no idea what to do for a rehearsal dinner. Would want to keep it under $500 for about 20 people, but it seems pretty much impossible to do without hosting it in someone’s home =/

We will probably do this for our bachelor/bachelorette mixer but there are plenty of other restaurants in the STL region that are more reasonable aren’t there? We are right across the river from you so I am interested in what responses you get. We are doing a limited menu at Ravanelli’s. It will be about$11 per person.

@Skittles131:  Often the groom’s parents host the rehearsal dinner. Is that a possibility? Or do they fell they have already contributed?

Can you use someone else’s home for the RD?

You don’t have to do a BBQ if you want to save all the cooking and shopping. You can order in pizza.

@Skittles131:  i think a restaurant would be a good place if it’s in the budget.  i would advise not having a bbq at your place.  it’s sounds great but do you really want the added stress of buying and preparing the food, rentals, setting up, taking down plus all of the clean up the day before your big day?  that is too much to take on even with the assistance of others.

I would do the restaurant if you can afford it but I voted for the BBQ idea because that is most likely what FI would do.
