    @PrincessMerida:  I failed FF’s ovulation quiz but I too voted CD16.

    I voted 16. The peak after CD13 is not even really higher than random pre-o peaks you have had. Were the pos OPKs cheapies? Maybe they were in correct?

    Did you stop the opks after the positives? It is possible to have an lh surge but have trouble releasing the egg, so your body will gear up to O, not O, and try again immediately.  That could explain the discrepancy.  I think thats what happened to me last month because i got a + but didnt O.  Other than that, I dont temp so im no help!

    CD13. A positive OPK usually indicates ovulation occurring within 12-48 hours. It’s not unheard of to get positives and have a delayed ovulation or not ovulate at all, but it’s not normal. If it weren’t for the positive OPKs on CD11 and 12 I’d say CD16, but taking everything into account I’d say for sure it’s CD13. Have you been doing anything to lengthen your LP, like taking evening primrose oil, vitex, B6/Bcomplex? It could be random spotting indicating a pregnancy. 12DPO is late for implantation (not impossible, but abnormal). Lots of pregnant women spot in early pregnancy and they’ve already implanted days earlier. Have you been testing?

    By the way, I’m ace at the FF ovulation prediction game, if that gives more “street cred” to my opinion 😉

    ETA: Your points for ovulation at CD16 (when you ovulated last time, and the bigger drop/spike) are kind of moot. While your LPs usually remain static unless you’re actively trying to lengthen them, the date of ovulation can move around pretty fluidly because stress, illness, lack of sleep (among a few other things) can affect it. Also, some women have a drop the day of ovulation, but it’s not a guaranteed thing. Additionally, some women have a slow rise and not a dramatic rise, and some women have a fall-back temp a day or so after ovulation. Your chart won’t do the same thing every month either. You might have a slow rise this cycle, and a sharp dramatic rise next cycle. So you can’t rely on that.

    Not having followed your past cycles and just based in my experience with myself, I’d say CD13.

    Yea… since AF hasn’t started yet… it’s hard to tell. but if she were to come today I’d say ~cd13-14 (based on lp length).

    Also I don’t like going by opk’s for figuring out o date unless they’re 100% clearly positive (sometimes it’s hard to tell..) so going solely on temps and CM I’d stick with my initial guess

    I’m not entirely when you ovulated, but the good news is, it doesn’t really matter.  You’re covered either way!  Nice BDing!  Are you testing tomorrow?  There’s a really good chance you’d get a BFP at 14DPO and a pretty good chance you’d get one at 11DPO.  If your temp stays above coverline tomorrow, I’d totally test if I were you.
