wow that is one helluva train! Have you looked to see if you can find the first dress on sites like preownedweddingdresses.com?

I don’t have much help to give since I’m look for a dress quite the opposite (no poof for me). I’m interested in seeing the responses though!

I tried on a dress with a similar train, just not quite as poofy, when I was searching for dresses.  Let me go find the picture I have…

Oh, honey, I feel your pain. I have been obsessed with an Amsale dress from 6 years ago for welll…. 6 years and it has a HUGE train. There are 2 Maggie Sottero dresses that I am considering though:

FIrst, the Amsale of my dreams:

Here is the Maggie Sottero Victoriana:

And here is the Maggie Sottero Mona Lisa:

Here is Maggie SOttero Selma (similar color to what you’re looking for):

i am absolutely in love with the St. Pucchi dress too!  i found a knock off that is perfect though.

http://www.juliusbridal.com/product.asp?DressName=Anais%2DB

now if you want the dress pretty exact to the pucchi dress, call the company to place your order instead of online and ask them to create the bottom like the one that pure white in the photos.  the ivory dress that is in the pictures has a train that is a little different, it is more bunched, and not as poofy/comforter looking.  ( i think it looks a little like a comforter at the end, so that’s how i describe it, but like i said i LOVE this dress, so that’s not a bad thing ) you can see the difference if you look at all the photos.  another nice thing is that the train is detachable and so you can have a completely different look for the reception.  the best part, this dress is less than $750 with shipping!  i have heard many great things about this company.  also if you notice in the photos comparing the two, the v-neck is a little deeper in the pucchi dress, which you can have a bridal dress seamstress make the alterations to it, and also on the pucchi dress there are little embellishments on the end part of the train.  hope this helps!  enjoy the beautiful dress and the wonderful day.

I love the poofiness, too, but I don’t have the body frame to pull it off.  Enjoy and flaunt the dress when you get it!

Go find Mrs. DG’s recaps and look at her AMAZING Sophia Tulli dress. It’s swoon worthy and the train is ultra dramatic and glamorous. Her dress, of all the dresses out there, is the only one that gives me dress regret!

I know! Come back PrincessYN! We want to know if you went with the Comforter Dress or something else! The poofy train reminds me of my bed comforter. Can i come curl up with you? Tongue out

Seriously, my cats would have been like “MINE!” with that thing in the house. I already found them on my dress once. Not cool.
