Weddingbee boards

We are having our ceremony on the beach so I'm going to wear dark blue flats (for the something blue) and cannot believe how hard it is to find a pretty pair of blue flats in a size 9!!  I fell in love with Rocket Dog Memories from Piperlime and ordered them in 8.5 (closest they had and I'm an 8.5 in some shoes) and although they list that size online for the last two weeks, everytime I order them I get an email a few days later saying they are no longer in stock---even though the 8.5 is still on their site!!  So my search for dark blue flats is back on.  Any suggestions????

NO don't stop....these are great!!!  LOVE the satin peep toe but can imagine my foot filling with sand, love the Linea Paolo but they don't have my size, and the Labuff's are very similar to the Rocket Dogs I liked.  Thanks so much for your help!  If you find any more please post.

Find a pair of leather white ones that fit great and take them to a shoemaker to dye the color you want.  Finding a cobbler now adays may be as difficult as finding the shoes.  I'd find the cobbler first and ask if they know how to do this.  The old timers did.  Another idea is to get white flats at any bridal store and have them die them.  Seeing you are from MA, there are some bridal shoes stores in Everett.  There is also a bridal shoe store near Wayland...google 'white shoes' and see what comes up.  They dye everything in stock.  It's famous, but I can't  think of the name.  They have every white shoe in the world [well not literally].  I wish I could remember it.

Talbot's also has some great shoes in colors; but it is hit or miss.  There is an outlet in Woburn and you can call and ask.   You might also want to try shoe stores in Revere.  Call first.  Michaelson's in Lexington Center can usually find anything you want.  Give them a call, too.  They have a store in Needham, I think or Natick. Best of luck.
