I am trying to find a dress for my maids. I am having an outdoor garden wedding that will span late afternoon into the evening. I will be wearing a lace dress, and I’ve been having difficulty finding a dress for my maids. I keep going back and forth on wanting something vintage inspired. My maids hardly ever wear dresses, so I think something feminine but not too over the top girly. Something more modest, possibly with cap sleeves, and tea length or full length. I like these two dresses, not sure about color yet.

Both are cute, but I really like option #2. The color is great, the cut is flattering, and it is def. rewearable! Have you asked your BM’s what they think?

J. Crew’s Cecelia dress is really similar to the red one and comes in a bunch of colors. Really lightweight and easy for them to wear again.

It is still early so my BMs are looking and sending me ideas, so if anyone has dress suggestions that would be helpful.
The ivory dress is by Catherine Deane and is called Ana Maria.
The aubergine dress is by Alix and Kelly and is called Stacey

I love the second one!! Do you have the designer info? Thanks!

I love the first, but I think it might fall into the category of girly. Not sure, but I think it’s lovely and perfect for a garden wedding.
WRT the second one I have a really hard time with true wrap dresses. I guess b/c of my small chest or something, not entirely sure, but I always feel like I’m flashing the world (and often I look down to find that I am so if I wear one I put a cami underneath). Anyway, i’m really uncomfortable in them. You might check to see how they feel about that.
