You'll have an easier time finding the color in the March timeframe because that's more of a spring color. I see that your wedding is in July, so that would be cutting it close.
You may want to try to get something through Etsy or just keep looking.
Bari Jay has a color called Misty Blue that is a bluish/mint green color- its very similar to what you are looking for. Heres a pic of the color and also a pic of the dress that would look BEAUTIFUL with that color (they didnt have a pic of it for that color, but they offer it) Good Luck!

JCrew.com still has a few dresses in dusty shale, not in every size, but maybe in the sizes you need

YSQueen - I've looked on Etsy too and haven't found a dress that I like yet. I'll keep looking!
I know I've had bad timing with seasonal colors since I got engaged at the end of summer, so most of my off-the-rack options so far have been in fall and winter colors/styles. I chatted with a JCrew wedding specialist online to ask about spring and summer colors. I've seen the preview of spring colors. The only one that's similar to what I have in mind is Wave Crest in Washed Silk Crepe fabric and I don't like those dress styles at all. She said there were several shades of blue in the summer colors, but she only had the names not images so she didn't know the exact shades. I'm so anxious for spring collections to hurry up and come out everywhere for better color options!
I love the Coren Moore dresses! They're a little pricey but so cute. I think my sister may have found that site a long time ago because I remember the seersucker fabric. The Bari Jay dresses are cute too.
I really wanted to do mismatched dresses (let my 4 girls pick their own dresses in slightly varied shades of this aqua color) but it almost seems harder on them to do it that way. I don't want them to stress out about finding a dress (I've done that enough for all of us already!)

I wore this dress in my friends wedding in July. It isn't very shiny and it has pockets!
This one doesn't come in as many colors: http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Strapless-Chiffon-Short-Dress-F12284_Bridal-Party-Bridesmaids-All-Bridesmaid-Dresses

If anyone else is looking for bridesmaid dresses in a similar color, I think I found one that will work!
I stopped by a few bridal shops to look at fabric swatches on Saturday and Belsoie and B2 (both by Jasmine Bridal) both have tons of color options and very flexible dress styles. If I understood correctly, the lady I met with said any of their dresses can be made in a long or short version in any of the fabrics and colors. She gave me a few swatches to take home and I am in love with the Sea Mist shade from the B2 line. The color looks a lot more green in the online images than it does in person (so it's probably not somethin I would have picked without seeing it in person). In person, it looks very similar to JCrew's dusty shale.

I also liked the Sea Glass color, which looks completely perfect in the online pictures but looked a little darker and maybe too blue based on the fabric swatch.

Both are really pretty colors though! I'm still not 100% decided. I definitely need my girls to try on some of the dresses, but I'm really excited to have found some good color options with so many different dress styles. I will probably let them pick whatever style they want in knee-length chiffon in the color we decide to go with.
I'll post any other similar dresses/colors I find because I know this is a popular color (from all the inspirational pics I've seen that led me to choose it) but apparently it's a bit hard to find.
Thanks again for all the wonderful suggestions everyone!
I forgot to mention, the B2 and Belsoie dresses average around $150 so they are pretty affordable too!!
Bill Levkoff also has a pretty color called Glacier (a tad darker than I want, but still a great blue-green shade). I think his dresses are around $200.

I've been looking for the same color and found one by The Dessy Group...it's called "meadow" and they have a ton of different styles in the color.

you may also like dessy's color "celadon." i think this is closer to what you were going for...
It's probably too late now, but I had the same delimma when I first got engaged (back in Sept 2010) - I thought Dusty Shale would be no longer.. BUT IT'S BACK!! I'm having my girls try on the dresses ASAP and already got a couple swatches from J Crew)
@noeyyyyy: darn! of course they bring it back AFTER my wedding haha. we ended up going with seamist chiffon dresses from B2 and everyone loved them. they were cheaper than the JCrew dresses too.

I am having the hardest time finding bridesmaid dresses in the color I want. I've found lots of photos from real weddings for inspiration, but can't find the same dresses still available in stores, so I'm desperately trying to find something similar.
My ideal are JCrew's chiffon dresses in Dusty Shale (unforunately a discontinued color). Here are a few pics:
I just found this cute dress from a UK site and got so excited but it's out of stock as well:
My dress is Melissa Sweet's Fern style, which the bride in that very first pic with the JCrew dresses is wearing, and I think they look great together. It's flowy and has a vintage feel with lace details.
Melissa Sweet Fern:
My wedding is in July, so I want something short, light, and airy for my girls and these simple chiffon dresses seem perfect. I plan to do yellow bouquets and I've seen so many gorgeous pictures of this aqua and yellow color combo that I love, but I can't find dresses in this color in stock anywhere!
Any ideas? Have you seen anything similar to these dresses that might work? I'm so frustrated right now and don't know where else to look.
Thanks for any help!
