We might be able to help you narrow down the designers if you can tell us how much the price of the dress was. What did they quote you?
Hmmm. That's tough. I'd check Allure Exclusives. There was a dress I tried on and the shop told me that they are the only shop in my state that carried that line (I confirmed this on the Allure website). The dress I tried on was in the same range -- it was priced at $595. Apparently the Allure Exclusive Collection line is a line of more reasonably priced dresses. Allure doesn't ever advertise these styles, so they're less known.
Good luck! It is a gorgeous dress on you and looks like it could easily be over $1000.

I have heard of labels doing exclusive lines that they release to very few shops and are not displayed as part of the collection were one to look on the website (Private Label by G comes to mind). If this shop is good about revealing the designer and leaving tags in the dress, it could be something like that. Why are you looking for the designer? If it is as unique a style as it seems, it is unlikely you'll find it used for a better price. You look great in it!

I'd want to know the manufacturer too, but if the label sewn into the dress has the name of the dress shop, then I'm guessing it's going to be tough to track it down, unless you just ask them point-blank.

I actually already purchased the gown, so I am not looking to get it at a better price. You raised a good question and one that I am having a hard time answering. Why do I want to know so bad??? I have NO clue!!! I just want to know the designer of my gown :) :) :) I want to be able to look at it online, see it in other colors, and know who designed it. I guess I'm just being overly curious!
I reallllllly hope that someone will see these pictures and say "Hey, I saw that gown and this is who makes it!"

@Lakebcrew: if you already bought the gown, the shop should have no problem telling you who made it. I'd insist knowing. What if you wanted to sell it? Or what if someone here wants to buy one? It is a gorgeous dress, most esp. the back(swoon)!
@Lakebcrew: I meant to say earlier that it reminds me a lot of Marisa dresseswhich could also be why you can't find pictures of it.
is it organza throughout? or is it satin on the top part? i can't tell from the pictures

I did ask the shop and they told me that it was an exclusive and that I wouldn't find it online. They did not offer a designer name. It was described to me as being Tulle, there is no satin on the dress. Thanks for your feedback. I'm glad you think it's beautiful and I think so too! I am very excited about this purchase! If I find out the designer, I will def. let you know!
You are very lucky to have found a freakin' GORGEOUS dress at that price. Trust me. My jaw dropped when I read what you paid. AWESOME deal!

Hi everyone,
This is my first post, although I have been following this board for a while now. I found a dress that I love, however, the bridal shop says it's exclusive to their store. The shop carries a lot of higher end designers and keeps all the tags in their dresses, but they have this "exclusive" line which just has the name of the shop (The Something Blue Shoppe) on the dress label. Please help me find the real designer or manufacturer! The style number at the store was listed as 5918 and the color is Latte (dress)/Silver (beading). I love this bridal shoppe and my consultant was so helpful...I just want to know the manufacturer of my gown. Thanks in advance!!!!!!!
