Hi everyone! So I think that I have tried on every Maggie Sottero dress under the sun and have not liked many but still LOVE her as a designer. I am currently trying to decide between Brianna and Sabelle. I am 5'7 and pretty much have a stick figure. I wanted an over the top dress, so I was leaning toward Sabelle, but I just don't want to make the wrong choice. Any suggestions??? Feel free to post pics of yourself in these........ thats one of my favorite parts about these blogs! Unfortunately I don't have a pic of myself in them yet.
I think you should try them both on and let us see it on you. can't tell which on looking at models!
These are two totally different dresses so it's really hard to tell without seeing them on you. I wanted the Sabelle when I saw it in a magazine and was in love, however when I tried it on and other larger gowns I felt so lost. If you are really thin then the Sabelle might be wearing you instead of the other way around.
I agree with coffeekitty. It's difficult to say without seeing you in them. Sorry . . .

I will tell you, as a dress... I totally like the Brianna better. Very classy.
just looking at them the bottom one is beautiful i LOVE LOVE the top of it good luck you will know when its right :)
hmm since the first is so form fitted through the hips, I think you'd need some hips and curves to get the full effect of that one. Even with the diagonal ruching, I think you'll need some curves to accentuate the design. The second has a much fuller skirt so if you feel like you're a "stick figure" that might be more flattering through the hips.
Yeah, without seeing you in them, its hard to say - my dress looks like a completely different dress on me than the model picture! - Get whichever you feel prettiest in :)
Well, I love the first dress. Its beautiful, but its simple. I'm more of a simple girl, when it comes to wedding gowns. So, if you're going for over-the-top, the 2nd dress would be the way to go.
i like the first just because im not a fan of huge gown... sabelle is really pretty,dont get me wrong, but it is just not my style!
I like the first one better personally, but if you are looking for something over the top, go for number 2. I would just worry that with a slim figure the second one would overwhelm you, but that would really be something you could only tell in person, you know?

...... Brianna seems to have won, but I am an over the top kinda girl and it is a black and white wedding with a ball room reception soooo SaBelle is still in the running. Thanks again girls!!!!

You sound like you are leaning toward Sabelle, so that's what I voted. I think if you want the lavish, ornate dress your wedding is the perfect time for it! I agree though, it'd be easier to give you opinions with pictures of you actually in the dress because then we can comment on which fits your figure etc better. With just the model pictures all we can really say is which style dress our personal taste prefers - or in my case, which it sounds to me like you prefer (and your preference is the important part! you should love your dress).
Thanks, I do love SaBelle and its they "type" of dress that I always wanted growing up ( For the first 7 years of my life I thought that being a princess was an actual career choice, I was sooo bummed when I found out it wasn't!) I know that Brianna is sophisticated and more practical expecially b/c it will be a hot July afternoon. Thus the dilema, to be practical or fun.......
Go with SaBelle. I personally think the Brianna is more elegant, but from what you have said in your posts, the SaBelle fits you better. It is what you really want, and you will look absolutely stunning in it. You will look like a princess and I think it would "fit" with your wedding style well. So, I vote SaBelle!!!
The sabelle is gorgeous!!! my co worker has that dress and its so gorgeous
I prefer the first but that's just my taste. If you're after something elaborate I'm sure you'll love the Sabelle.
I personally prefer the simple elegance of the top pic. But, it sounds like you want something a little more over the top.
I like simpler dresses. You want to wear it, not the other way around!

I wore a Sabelle, so I'm biased but they are both beautiful! Mine was a replica...and it was worth every penny!
