WELL I guess strippers are out lol. What would you think about a lingerie shower instead of a bach party? It would still be fun/girly/risque.. You could have drinks (for those who would drink) and games.. If you want it a little more party atmosphere.. you could have some drinking games. I dont know how strict this church is... so I wouldnt know the level of modesty
@MrsNeutrino: I don't think that they are necessarily strict about drinking (as long as it isn't TOO much), but a lot of them are nosy and are caught up in HIS business because he works at the church. I feel like a panties party would be way inappropriate. Who would want to sit in church listening to him give a sermon, while thinking about the teddy you are giving his fiancee? It could cause giggling :D
How about a nice shower for all of the girls and making the bach party small. Just you and her and maybe one or two other girls and go out and get crazy!
@mkim: I think thats the only way to go, I just want her to feel really special. We are getting married within a few months of each other and I don't want to have some big blowout when she only has a couple of girls.
@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d: could you maybe have a shower for her and you both have a double bach party? This way.. you can get a shower... she can get a shower.. and you could both have a blow out bash bach party.. and just invite her friends that would think it were appropriate
@MrsNeutrino: Unfortunately I don't even get to plan her shower. She is already having two of them! My mother's sunday school group is hosting one, and the other is being hosting by the mission group where they first met. The double bach. party could work though!
@cant.wait.to.be.mrs.d: Yea I think the double bach party would be even better now knowing that she is already having 2 showers!
I like the double bach party idea. Plus, then all the "crazy stuff" can be on you rather than the future minister's wife ;-) Hahah. Way to take one for the team. You're a good sister :-)
@NDBee: I know, what a sacrifice!
Thanks for all your input bees! Crisis averted!

So my sister-like me-is insane! When we are together we go downtown to bars, go see live music, and eat a ton! She is marrying the music minister at her church and most of the people attending the bachelorette party are her church friends. How the heck do I plan something that she will have fun at that her more conservative friends won't be uncomfortable with? Help!
