Hello wonderful bees,
I’ve been reading this board for over a year, and i know your talents in identifying dresses! Now it’s my turn to ask for help. I was dress shopping yesterday in NYC at Wedding Atelier, and tried on a beautiful dress. I loved it so much i decided not to try 2 other dresses that consultant pulled for me. My family and friends that were with me loved it too, it was the one. I was pretty sure i’m going to buy it, but i had another appointment after that.
The dress i tried on reminded me of something i saw on Pronovias website, and i asked my consulat if it was pronovias. She said indeed, it was. The price was $2200. Since my next appointment that day was at Pronovias flagship store, my MOH, who also got her dress from Pronovias couple of months earlier, suggested we still go there and see if we can ge a better price.
We arrived at Pronovias, i described to them what i loved a the previous store, and said that i’m ready to buy this dress, but i want to try on a couple of more just because we’re already here. So, the consulant pulled a couple of dresses that were not at all similar to what i told her i like ( mermarid, with dramatic skirt). Then she told me Pronovias doesn’t make dresses s i like, even though i showed her some pictures of the dresses from their website that fit the description. The store did’nt carry them. So, i asked if they have the dress i loved from the first shop, just to find out the price and order. The director came over ( she used to work at Kleinfeld, my little sister recognized her from all those “say yes to the dress” showe we watched), looked at pictures of the dress i took at the prievious store, and said it’s not a Pronovias dress, its La Sposa.
So, i got home, scoured La Sposa website, didn’t find anything. I aslo looked at San PAtrick, since they are a sister company too, and didn’t find the exact dress, but found something similar ( San Patrick Epico).
Wedding Atelier is closed today, and i cant call them and ask to double check on that dress, so I’m turning to you, bees! Help me ID this dress and get the best deal on it!
According to the consultant, it was made of english netting and organza, with feathers along bust.
