Anyone have suggestions for centerpieces for a 9 course banquet? I am having mine served at my own venue (not a restaurant) without a lazy susan but am thinking the servers can immediately remove plates off the table once people are done eating each course. It would be 10 people seated per round table.
The problem I have is that it is very common for people to remove the centerpieces off the table once it is time to eat, so that they make way for the food! Because of this, I am now thinking I can’t have any candles on my tables, or high vases filled with water, for fear that my guests will knock things over and/or start a fire while they are moving the centerpieces. So that leaves me with a short compact centerpiece?
What are your thoughts and any opinions please? I have a goal of choosing my florist in one week but I am completely lost in this area. Thanks so much!
