Talk to your neighbors. My guess is that the boards won't be too helpful since you need someone local. If you're interested in trying to figure out if you can do it yourself, check out a couple of posts from Young House Love, like this one.
I am doing mine pretty much myself. FH thinks he's handy but he also does not do all the research and planning and execution out of um, what's a nice word for laziness. We had some of the pavers already and also got some stuff for free but it only cost us $100. I would say you could do yourself for $500. There is lots of info on the internet on how-to's! And it's a great feeling!
We're in northern Ohio, not a huge area and my parents were going to get a paver patio the same dimensions and contractors were giving estimates in the $2000 range too-one was $2500. Have you considered looking into sculpted concrete? The reason why the pavers are so expensive and people are hesitant to do it is due to all the labor involved leveling, etc.

FH and I want to put a paver patio behind our deck, with a hot tub on it and arbor vitae around it. We found a great deal on arborvitae but FH is SUPER busy, I'm not handy, and we're trying to find someplace to do a paver patio about 15 by 15 feet, and I can't get straight estimates or they are $2000. Any suggestions on where to find someone to plant arborvitae and do a reasonably priced patio?
