My wedding is September 28th and we went with a fall color scheme.

I like the idea of the black, gold and white. I don’t see how the blush roses really connect. I would do black and gold everything with all the flowers being white.

BelleEtoile:  Adding red and eggplant sounds like it would be too dramatic. I think a softer color would be better. Gold would be a great accent. My colors were ivory, gold and eggplant, I think adding black to that would make it really pretty!

BelleEtoile:  All black and white only would look pretty awesome.  But if you really want an extra color, I would accent with flashes of the red or dark pink or eggplant in the flowers (i.e. only pick one bold accent color so it stands out against the black and white.)

Pick a color that you want in the flowers.  Pick a color that is bold and will stand out against the B & W that you have.

My wedding is in 3 months and I’ve just gone with all black and white. Most flowers will be white and I will have a dark purple calla lily bouquet

Blush gold and ivory are my colors so I vote that because I’m biased 🙂 I’m getting married one day before you, happy to see another September bride not do the traditional brown, orange, red fall colors.

kimmo416:  Me too! I love the black, gold, ivory and blush scheme we have come up with!

Side note: Every wedding I have been too, and am going to, in the last two years and the next year, have had purple as one of their colours. PLEASE don’t do it haha! If you don’t go with the blush and gold, I would recommend a really raspberry-red colour.

ooooo I love both! My colour were black, plum, cranberry and ivory so I’m partial to that scheme. Here’s some pics from my wedding. But I also really love the blush and ivory and black and gold… very country garden/black tie too!!

MissLibra:  There are also a lot of blush wedding as well.. I don’t think you can really go wrong with either pallet even if the colours are popular.

BelleEtoile:  I am in the same boat as you (Sept. 27)! I just can’t decide. I agree with

stargurl101:  you can’t go wrong with either one. Please let us know what you decide.

stargurl101:  Sure, on blogs, or websites like these. I have never been to one myself, or seen any photos of my facebook friends with an actual blush wedding. Purple is just one of the most common colours I have seen at weddings over the years- just my two cents.
