Hi Bees.  I'm havingt trouble deciding what to do for table numbers.  What is everyone else doing?

FI and I are going to have a friend take pictures of us holding up signs with numbers on them.  But what to put the photo in?  I like something like this, but they cost more than I want to spend.

I found these frames at the Dollar Store.  Eh?  Are they ugly?  I think they're fine and unoffensive, but nothing special.  One of my BM's thinks they're hideous.  But they're $1 and I don't really want to spend a ton on something that no one will even pay attention to.

    Thoughts?

walgreens also has frames for $1. i bought those and spray painted them the color i wanted. i think those dollar tree frames look fine. it doesn't matter what your bm thinks, it's your wedding. i don't think you need anything too fancy, you don't want to take away from the picture.

I'm using little frames too. I'm not 100% in love with the idea, but hey they were cheap and they'll get the job done...

I don't think those frame are hideous necessarily but you could always spray paint them to go with your wedding colors if you wanted to!

Have you looked into renting those metal table number stands?

@AnnieAAA - can you elaborate? How did you use the corks?

I think the $1 frames would be fine :)

Not sure if you have an Ikea in your area, but they had little white picture frames that you could place a photo on each side of for $1 each.

@BrideMegan: Unfortunately my photographer didn't capture pics of my escort cards or table numbers (I used wine corks for both) :(

But, what I did was cut a slit into the cork (where the table number went) and then sanded the bottom of the cork to make a flat surface so that they sat upright on the table.

Heres a pick of excatly how my corks looked.

There's an IKEA about 90 minutes away, but I literally do not have a free day to go.  It's gotta be something I can order online or buy locally.

The BM who thinks the frames are hideous is going to look for other options for me.  I'm curious to see what she comes up with.  I'm sure it'll cost about 5X what I want to spend.

I used picture frames too! Michael's often has them on sale for ridiculously low prices.
